Obsidian swords flashed as the lady Nocturne fought with strange creatures. Looking like large cloak waring bipeds, they exhibited strange traits, melting, stretching, unbreakable, animal features, half dark faces.
Ivy didn't have time to think. She slammed her blade directly into the closes one. Piercing it. thunderstorms popped out. She twisted in deflecting an overhand strike from her shoulder as she stepped back. Spotting an opening she juked and slashed underneath the arm joint, send the rainbows and arm flying forward in slow motion.
Slashing mindlessly, she parried and dodged, trying to keep everyone in place. Glancing back, she cursed loudly, wincing as a spear made of candy cane was driven into her thigh. She wrapped earth around it to shatter it than eviscerated the monster in front of her. For some reason it looked a lot like a cartoon character she watched as a kid…
