Huguel did not know of the humiliation that Nikkoman gave him and soon Huguel planned revenge against Nikkoman
As Huguel continued to work with Nikkoman towards their goal of rehabilitation and education, he struggled with his inner conflict of seeking revenge. He knew deep down that revenge would not lead him anywhere but to destruction. However, Huguel kept seeing flashes of the humiliation that Nikkoman gave him, and the anger towards Nikkoman was beginning to seep through.
One day, Huguel decided to confront Nikkoman about his motives. Nikkoman apologized to Huguel for his mistake and stated that he was trying to enforce the law without understanding the context. He further said that he saw the good in Huguel, and he believed in him.
Nikkoman gave Huguel his own backstory. He had grown up in a happy home but witnessed his father being killed in front of him when he was young. From that day, he made a promise to himself that he would become a law enforcement officer to make his community a safer place for everyone. Huguel realized that Nikkoman never had ulterior motives against him, but instead, he was trying to do his job and protect the city.
With this realization, Huguel let go of his anger and started to view Nikkoman in a different light. Over time, they rekindled their friendship and worked even harder towards their goal of making Jacaré Sul and Zombo a better place. They both became the heart of their community, and their hard work and determination paid off in the end.
Years went by, and they both became old and frail, but their legacy lived on. Jacaré Sul became the most prosperous and peaceful favela in Zombo, and their story became an inspiration for future generations. Huguel and Nikkoman's friendship remained unshaken, and they both realized that despite their differences, they were both fighting for the same cause.
