Back at Yura's house, Tae and Yura sat at the kitchen table across from each other.
Yura explained, "The ZBA, otherwise known as the Zombie Battalion Association, was founded the same day all the men disappeared from this world, which was the same day all the zombies started appearing out of nowhere."
"All the men disappeared?"
"Yes. And then hours later, zombies began to sprout out from God knows where, and they been terrorizing ever since. Level 1 zombies - Dumb zombies. Those are the types that just walk around all slow, looking to bite someone. Level 2 - smart zombies that act like real humans, along with their intelligence. They feed off the daily routines of humans and their emotions and gestures, and apply it to their own conscious. Level 3 - giant zombies that do nothing but cause rampage like the one you fought. Those bastards are forbidden terror, they come in all sorts of sizes, with abilities that are on par with Vice captains. Level 4 - Necromancer zombies, these zombies are smart and can use cursed abilities that are kinda like magic. They are extremely annoying, also on part with Captains. And lastly, level 5 zombies. These zombies have horns, and they technically stronger than all the other levels of zombies that I mentioned before. They are extremely rare to find, and hard to beat. They possess strength, speed, and cursed abilities that even rivals the necromancer zombies."
"Saying all that nerdy stuff, what category would you place me in?"
"….After looking back at the footage from the airship, we noticed you were bitten by a level 1 zombie. Which the other captains believe it's impossible for you to turn into hybrid level 5 zombie human from just a weak zombie. So putting you on a scale is utterly ridiculous."
"Ahhhh okay, okay. So uh, why did you save me? You're in love with me, aren't you?"
"NOOO! I'm NOT. You're a zombie human, you are my enemy."
"So you've come to the conclusion that I'm not just a zombie then?"
"….I did. I saw a small fraction of human in you, that's it. That's why I didn't kill you yet. I hoped that maybe…my mother, Commander Esther, would let you take the ZBA exams for rookies who want to join our cause. With your power, we could win. The other captains plus the other Commanders saw the footage of your fight, and as I was, they were in shock and awe, they couldn't believe what the hell they were looking at. But then they came up with hundreds of accusations in the meeting room, they came to the conclusion that you were a threat to the ZBA, and ordered me to kill you while you were unconscious. I rebelled."
"You put your faith in me too much when in reality I don't even know what the hell I am. You risked your position as a captain, ya know? That kinda sucks. I don't even know how I got here to begin, why I can spawn guns and stuff, and why I'm half zombie."
"This has been going on for almost two years. People through all the cities and states are living normal lives, but when zombies pop out of nowhere, it fucks everything up. We try our best here at ZBA, completing missions to make the world a better and safer place, creating weapons and gear infused with our own mana, and trying to find a cure to this zombie plague. For awhile, I felt like everything I was doing was pointless, because more zombies were causing havoc. No matter how many missions or zombies we risk our lives to take, it seems never ending. I want to see a true change."
Yura gasped, thinking to herself while sweating, 'Why the hell did I just tell this monster how I felt?'
Tae responded to Yura with a grin, "I joined the special forces when I was 18 years old, I was there for only a year, which seemed impossible to be there at a young age, but due to how tough and skillful I was, it was possible."
"Your 19…like me?"
"Yeppp. Anyway, before I was RUDELY INTERRUPTED-!"
"SHUT UP!"
"During my campaign there, I met all kinds of annoying ass nerds, nerds who I made a slight connection with, knowing we were all gonna be risking our lives together one day. Our main group to take down were rebels who wanted a change from the Korean government. They became terrorists, getting their hands on all sorts of weapons and artillery, terrorizing highlight sighting places in every district of Korea. You know how my final stand down went already. To add to that story I told you, in the mist of me killing all of those rebels, I killed their leader. I don't know how the rest of it ended since I'm not there to see it. Or has it even ended at all?"
"What are you trying to say to me?"
"During that fight, I saved children, which ended up being my fate. I risked my life for those little ass brats. It may seem small because it was like, 7 children, but I helped them get away due to the sacrifices I made. I know it sounds corny as hell, but I would do it again. Which is why I tell you, even if it seems like a little is being accomplished, it'll make a big impact later on. Which is also why I tell you, that everything you are doing, will turn out good later down the road."
Yura clenched her fists and looked down at the table, "You.."
"Hm?"
Yura thinks, 'The more we talk…the more human I see in him..but I can't get rid of the fact that he's a hybrid zombie..what is this feeling I've never felt before…why am I relating to a hybrid zombie? When ever since I've became a captain…I've done nothing but further my hatred for them?'
"Are you using your necromancy to make me feel this way?!"
"WHAT?! NO!"
"I wonder how many human minds you've consumed to give good advice."
"HAHAHAHAHA! I DON'T KNOW! MAYBE ONE-FUCKING-HUNDRED!"
"I knew it. Prepare to die."
"JOKES! JOKES! Besides, you couldn't kill me if you wanted to. It'll a whole damn army. I'm just built differently than you normal humans."
"You wanna test that?"
"Nah, I'm good. I'm hungry as hell. Ya' got snacks or what?"
Tae stood up from the table, and made his way towards Yura's kitchen.
Yura said, "I will not allow you zombie fingers to touch anything consumable."
Yura dashed towards Tae, but Tae stopped her by grabbed her face, and opening the refrigerator with his other hand, and Yura was trying to break free.
Tae looked in the fridge, saying, "PIZZA? IT'S NOTHING BUT PIZZA."
Yura threw Tae's hand away, saying, "The hell is pizza? That's called Rizza."
"RIZZA? THAT'S LITERALLY PIZZA! DUMBASS!"
"YOU'RE THE DUMBASS! As a captain of the Zombie Battalion Association, my IQ is rated highly."
"That's literally pizza. Are you crazy?"
"Are you crazy? That's Rizza. Maybe from your imaginary world it was called that."
"Yeah this place is insane. There's nothing but RIZZA in here, where's the real food?"
"Rizza is real food. I love it. You won't eat it. Monsters like you can't eat regular human food."
"But I'm hybrid like you said, so maybe I'll eat it? If not, I'll vomit the shit on you."
"Don't waste my Rizza. I'll kill you."
Tae reached in the fridge, but as soon as he did, the door was creaking open, and they both looked to the left at it.
Slowly walking in, was Commander Esther.
She turned to the right, saying, "Ah, there you two are."
Tae grinned, thinking, 'I didn't even sense her coming in..she's the real deal..'
Yura's heart dropped, thinking, 'She's…here…I hope she doesn't go crazy..please don't. I need to hurry and explain to her why I rebelled against the ZBA..'
Yura said, "Mother-."
Esther interrupted with a smile, "Yura."
"…I know-."
"-Know what?"
"What you're going to say-."
"What am I going to say?"
"About this hybrid human.."
"Weren't your orders simply to kill him while he was vulnerable?"
"Yes-."
"Why didn't you do it?"
"Mom, he's strong."
"And?"
"He's abnormal, he's not like any other zombie, or human."
"How so?"
"The things we talked about…"
"His little backstory and he cried fake tears perhaps?"
"I don't think they were really fake, I felt something."
"My own daughter, Captain of the ZBA Sword and Blade Division feeling something from a zombie? A level 5 zombie's abilities are unpredictable, they could possibly do the impossible. You…are being foolish. Rebelling against the covenant we placed upon this one society; there will be no end to madness if such a thing as folly bombards our thoughts."
"Tch.."
"You hid this from everyone, even the General who is away on a business trip, me and the other commanders have been trusted to watch over things. With that bitch scientist Mura running around, and with us hunting her down, we have a lot on our plates already. You think the General and the other Commanders are going to let a hybrid zombie into the ZBA to fight on our side? He's half of us, and half of the enemy, but still a zombie."
"He's an asshole, and a pervert, and a monster, but he's different from a regular human and zombie. I know that. He could've killed Vice Captain Big Mertha when he had the chance, but he laughed with her instead."
Tae pointed at himself, saying, "Uhhh, you both know I'm right here, right?"
Esther asked Tae, "What's your name? Do you have one?"
"Taehyung Kim. But Tae for short."
"Sounds foreign."
Esther started walking towards Tae, and Yura's heart was pounding, thinking, 'Many of the soldiers here fear my mother. Commanders are a higher rank than the generals obviously, and their strength is damn near unmatched. They are comparable to level 5 zombies plus a large horde of level 3 zombies.'
Esther grabbed Tae's left arm, and looked at it, saying, "Hm. The bite mark is gone. Like it was never there. Do level 5 zombies have regeneration?"
Tae answered, "Uhhh I don't fucking know, lady."
Yura thinks, 'His bite mark is gone?! I didn't even notice!'
Tae wanted to say something else, but Esther held up her finger, and it was bleeding a little, and she asked Tae, "How do you feel when you see blood?"
Esther thinks, 'It's impossible for any zombie to not react aimlessly when seeing human blood.'
Tae looked at it, tilted his head, and replied, "Was your finger bleeding before? How did you cut it?"
"Mm."
"I-."
Esther pinned Tae against the wall, and her face was close to Tae's face, and she grinned, saying, "Almost two years since we've had any sight of males in this world. We checked far and wide, but none could be found. I was lonely for those two years, hoping to be healed. And now, I found one."
She ran her fingers slowly down Tae's cheek, and down his chest while grinning.
Yura exclaimed, "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"
Tae took a deep breath, and said, "I'm gonna man up and fulfill your request of mating."
Yura scoffed at Tae, "WHAT?! YOU BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU IF YOU DO ANYTHING WITH MY MOM! AND MOM WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Esther looked at Yura, replying, "Whaaaat? Your mother's been lonely."
Yura made a disgusted face, and covered her ears, "I'M JUMPING OFF A FUCKING CLIFF!"
Outside of the door, in a hallway, sat one girl in the ZBA, and she had multiple other girls behind her that were in the ZBA. They all were a part of Yura's Sword and Blade Division.
The girl ZBA soldier's name was Aria. She was 20 years old, She had wavy shoulder length dark pink hair, and scarlet red eyes. She had a small green holographic screen placed on the door, and they all could see what was going on in there.
She whispered loudly, "What lewd actions are taking place, awesomeeee!"
The other soldier girls whispered:
"Why is she hogging him all to herself??"
"The boy's name is Taehyung???"
"I wanna go in!"
"Is the commander actually thinking about letting him join the ZBA?? I hope so!"
"I hope he joins our squad…"
Another girl among them, her name was Cupid. She was 18 years old, long straight black hair, pale skin, dark blue eyes, and dark bags under her eyes that signaled her tiredness, or craziness.
She said, "Hehe…hehe…I wanna annihilate them both…especially the boyyyy. He'd be good dissecting…"
Suddenly, Aria said, "Oh shit."
The other girls asked, "What? What's happening?"
"She's-."
The door blasted open into pieces, and Aria, Cupid, and the other girl soldiers went blasting through walls of the house, flipping everywhere.
Dust slowly raced everywhere, and Commander Esther was standing there with her fists literally steaming with steam.
She said with her red eye glowing, "Out of the way, nosey ass women."
She had Tae in a headlock, and his face was pressed up against Esther's right breast. Tae's face was red, thinking, 'I see no issues here.'
In the back, Yura was tied up with a glowing white rope, along with her mouth, and she was muffling over and over, saying, "MMMM! MMMM! MMMM!"
Esther turned around to Yura, and smiled, "We'll be back from our dateeee! From the love hotel that is! I know a perfect spot!"
Yura screamed, "MMM! MMF! MMMMMF!"
Esther left with Tae, and walked out.
