I determinedly walked to the balcony door throwing them open.
'SAY NO TO TOXIC EXES!'

Van Gogh Museum or Rijsk Museum?
Amsterdam, I have to say is a gorgeous city. If you'd asked me 2 months ago what I knew about it, I'd say..
Flash back;
'Yes..yes.. cariño! Yes.. don't stop!'
Cringe moments after;
Yes. That was me, 2 months ago me with my toxic ex cariño, Juan Pablo. Not my proud moments ever since I found out he was cheating on me with my mother.
At least I got my fashion sense from my father. Thank goodness.
What would a combination of; A black turtleneck blouse with a peach scarf, white skinny jeans, a black blazer, golden necklace, golden watch and a black tote bag for a work outfit say?
Not to forget the black pointed toe heels. 5'7" is not a dominating height here in the land of Giants.
I am Sonnet Alejandra Ziad. Born into the Italian house of an Italian father, Leonardo Ziad and Italian- Colombian mother, Elettra Alejandra. Both of which are divorced. Only child.
Obviously not traditional and work as an Actuary but I am also a personal trainer.
I also need an outfit combo for my entrance at work tomorrow..thank you!
Oh, and did I mention I love motorbikes? I am obsessed with them!
'Finally!' Celine, the receptionist at work met me at the door. Oh, she is my Dutch friend. Only Dutch friend as far as I know.
'Jaime is not happy about the project! He says something about it doesn't sit him right.. like it's going to backfire_' She rapped out what seemed to frustrate her as we shuffled our way into the elevator.
Jaime wasn't your everyday boss, you see..I was his personal trainer before our contract time elapsed. He wanted to keep me around so he found out I worked as an Actuary at a company in Italy and he hired me after brutally firing his long term professional.
'Then he shouldn't have hired me if he didn't trust me!' I turned to Celine calmly placing my palm on her shoulder. She kept quiet staring at me. 'Just take a deep breath and just know that it's okay because I am going to handle this!'
Now, I know what people think when hot arse independent b¡tches like me say that..
Flashback;
'I don't mix business with pleasure!' I carefully pulled my hand from beneath Jaime's on the table, taking his business card along.
Professional moments later;
What? Did you think that I didn't know what professionalism was? I am professionalism. Celine doesn't think of me like the rest. She just nodded sighing in relief.
'You know how frustrating Jaime is..he gets on my_' Celine runted before the elevator opened with a ding.
Before her stood Jaime, classic Jaime. Great build with the 4 buttons undone, gray trousers to a puzzle fit, such a seductive trap. Strawberry blonde hair well done, straight teeth, perfect face and jawline; he was a giant, can't blame his genes. It just hurt to watch him from the side lines of professionalism.
'You haven't been answering my calls, Sonnet!' His incoherent accent masked itself behind his years of Australian citizenship.
'That's because they happened to be late in the night!' I looked him straight in the eye despite his raised brow. 'Sir!'
I added the last part after the awkward silence to signify the professionalism.
'We don't need to proceed with the project!' He said gruffly, I knew he hated being left out of activities but Jaime was just a pretty man with money who decided to start jewelry production and now needed to reduce his expenses on materials.
We suggested taking part the Indoor Miner project by the ENS Company as it allowed Jaime to get shares in the mining industry of the company.
It'd reduce his purchase prices and he'd make money but he was too proud to work with a former school nemesis.
'Do we have to go through this again?' I brushed past him hoping he'd follow me into my office, he did.
'Jaime_'
I was interrupted by a door slam, I turned and saw Jaime with the most plain face I'd seen him with.
'It was late in the night but you'd just posted on your Instagram_' He started and I groaned.
'Can we do this another time?' I walked to the edge of the office where I could see the city through the glass walls.
'You act like the most professional person now but you know the days at the gym were fun!' He lamented, crossing his arms making his muscles pop.
I turned around frustrated. 'I had just had a rough breakup, Jaime! I made a mistake!' I whispered as loud as I could.
'Well that mistake happened quite a number of times!' He rolled taking quick steps to me, he wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me onto the desk top. I tried to slip away but I knew I'd fail.
'Jaime! Stop it!' I warned looking away from him. He moved his face to the crook of my neck, I froze not sure why I felt like I'd peed myself.
'Please, Sonnet! Reconsider!' He hesitantly moved his nose down my neck, I was fighting the urge to throw my head back.
He pulled away his blue eyes meeting mine, his face was close. 'We don't have to let anyone find out!' He spoke his eyes dropping to my parted lips, mine dropped to his. Blame induction.
I was trying to give a verbal response when Jaime closed the distance, our lips merely brushing when there was a interruptive knock on the door.
The person stepped in even without my permission to enter. It was crazy how Jaime was already at the edge of the office pretending to stare out when the person got in.
My heart was beating loud and fast, I almost couldn't hear anything.
It was awkward being found seated on your desk instead of at it. 'Ms. Ziad, Ahem! These are the plans and projected goals of Athens on the project!' My assistant, Arman cleared his throat as he handed me the documents.
Jaime came closer to have a look at the documents and it lead to that awkward stare before Arman left.
Professionalism huh?
