I wanted to go back and kill Jake! He is stealing our mate. Leonardo is the Alpha King! How could Jake dare steal our mate! I cannot allow this! Leonardo should not allow this. I am so angry that this is happening! How could he! The more I thought about it, the fact that someone else haș our mate, the more I get angry, the croazier I become.

The color of my eyes kept changing from blue to violet to red. I hurriedly ran back to my pack's grounds. I immediately mind-linked my beta, Marco. I need help controlling Xander.
Instead of going to my house, I went to my secret garden. Marco was already there waiting for me. He opened the gate and as soon as I entered, He closed the gate and locked it with a key.
I finally let Xavier out. He was like a demented beast, in a rage and fully out of control. He jumped high up on a tree and started clawing the trunk vehemently.
Then he jumped high in the air and caught a bird. He thrashed the bird's body with his sharp fangs.
He caught another and did the same. I hated the taste of fresh bird meat. But I let Xander lose some steam. Better he kills the birds rather than Jake. It's not the time for him to die.
When I am in my wolf form, I can jump very high, up to ten feet. Xander was able to jump high just right after I transformed. I was just twelve then when I had my wolf.
Then Xander jumped to an apple tree and shook the branches until a lot of apples fell off.
I sighed unhappily. "You wasted my apples."
Xavier snarled, "So easy to kill him. He was so close. I could kill him in less than five seconds!
I rolled my eyes. I told him, "You can't expect Anastasia to just be waiting for us. She is a gorgeous girl. Of course, we will get her." I tried to calm him. For once, I was cool and he went balistic.
"I want to kill him. I want him dead! He can't have my mate! He's gone!
Xavier continued, "I want to punch him and knock off all his teeth." He thought about what else he wanted to do to Jake. "Probably bite his face, so he won't be handsome anymore. Pull out all his hair."
I suggested, "Break his knee?" I smiled at the thought.
"Yeah."
So we stayed up in the tree and we talked what we want to do to Jake. After a while, Xavier calmed down. He was smiling again and his tongue was hanging out.
We were still up the apple tree. "Can we go down now? I need to plan the attack with Marco. We only have five days to get ready."
Xavier complained, "You never take me seriously." But he let me go back to my human form.

I have to plan and think things through. I cannot make a mistake. Too much was at stake. I could not lose.
When I came back to the mansion, I went to my office to look for the invitation of the Moonlight pack that I had carelessly discarded a few days ago. Why should I attend a mating ceremony?
So I was able to find the invitation. It was, of course, in the trash can. I'm glad I didn't crumble it.
The invitation read;
You are cordially invited to be part of a joyous ceremony.

on the 17th of November year 2023
on the Moonlight Pack's grounds.
I stared at her name. ANASTASIA. Such a beautiful name for a beautiful lady.
I sat on my desk and called my beta, Marco, again.
"Yes, Alpha?"
"Just come here to my office!" I barked. My impatience returning.
"Yes, Alpha King!"
Whenever I shouted, my beta came running so fast. He was in front of me in four minutes.When he entered the room, he was trying to control his panting.
"What happened?" Marco tried very hard to look casual, even though we both knew this is something big, like a new war or a new werewolf to assasinate. In this case, maybe both.
"Jake wants to claim my Luna."I told him quietly.
"Jake? As in Jake Simmons of the Moonlight pack?"
I nodded.
Then Marco broke into a grin, "you finally found your Luna! Congratulations!" He hugged my back. Mind you, he was the only one allowed to do that. Normally, if someone else did it, I would have squeezed his throat in an instant and flung him ten meters away. I don't like being touched. Too dangerous. Evoked unwanted feelings.
My mother used to hug me. But she died a long time ago. Since then, I avoid sentimental actions.
I couldn't help smiling at Marco for congratulating me. He knew how long I have been looking for my Luna.Three years is such a long time.
"How did you meet her? How did you know Jake…oh the invitation." Realization dawned on him.
I nodded. I tossed him the invitation. "I haven't met her yet. But I saw her with Jake." I looked away, remembering her. "She's so beautiful"
"You went to their territory?"
I nodded.
"How did you know she was there?"
"I got her scent."
"Does she already know you are her mate?"
I shook my head. "Xander said she's still underaged."
"And yet they are already planning to have the mating ceremony." Marco frowned. " That was why Xavier was so angry!" Glad he was on my side.
Marco exclaimed, "Sneaky bastard! How do you plan to get her?"
Do we have the map of the Moonlight Pack's territory?
Marco nodded. "We have the detailed maps of all territories here in UK."
"Good. We also need the floor plans of all their buildings."
"We have the floor plans of most buildings, including the main house of Alpha Philip. But don't have the new plans of the main house extensions and renovations that were started a year ago. They just finished the construction last month."
"How long can we get Sam to do them?"
"When do you need them? We might be able to get a rough sketch if you really need them quick." Marco looked at me expectantly. "Are we going to attack them?"
"Of course," I snorted. No need to ask me. "Jake took my mate. Stupid wolf! He haș to pay for it and we need to get her.!"
I started to feel the excitement of a new attack as I started making plans with Marco.
I thought this will just be another attack. No sweat. I could do it with my eyes closed. The Moonlight Pack was an insignificant pack. The Alpha King's Pack never lost a single battle. We always win. I became the Alpha King because NO ONE could win against me. Whether they hate me or love me, I don't care. I will always win. I will always be on top. I have long ago hated myself for being the evil person I have become. But I need to be evil. I cannot show mercy. I need to win. WIN. AND WIN.
So Alpha Jake, BEWARE! You only have a few days to live!
But what I didn't realize until it was too late was that Alpha Jake already expected the attack.
