Little Loo charged the nearest equipment trailer. But LaRee beat him there, snatching an arrow case and unfolding his bow with a flick of his wrist.
However, LaRee did take an extra moment to look around the half-empty shelves and racks of the trailer.
Most officers were already locked and loaded, or they were adjusting the side latches to their armor vests with weapons in hand. While gunmen dominated the firing lines, a few bowmen dotted the crowd of Wizley officers.
To LaRee's unspoken disappointment, the provided arrows were plenty good enough for LaRee's liking. Yet, compared to Pilor's personal stock, their broadhead tips weren't as intimidating or threatening to the incoming prey.
