The sound of high-heeled footsteps soon broke the laughing fest.
LaRee and Baloo both looked down the hall with eager eyes, with Baloo waving his hand and tail proudly.
"Hey! Where are we going today? Got any fun plans?"
Aegri smiled back and nodded. "I'm not sure if you'd call shopping fun, like some people. But it might be. On the right occasion and under the right circumstances."
"We're going shopping?!"
Baloo had to step away from the hallway walls to stop his wagging tail from slamming the sides.
"Wow! This will be my second time. I can't wait, are we going now?"
"We can leave now. It wouldn't hurt," Aegri answered.
Meanwhile, LaRee squinted at her weak nod.
"Hmm… Are you okay, Miss Boss?"
"Yeah. Of course, I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be?"
The tanned man shrugged. "Well… You must compete in this pay-gent now. But do you want to?"
