Banders interjected with a gentle nod and an unusually professional tone.
"Your stay's already been extended till the end of May, more than a week past the pageant date. Paid in full.
"Also, make sure to take this."
A platinum key card appeared from the captain's coat. It glided over the table, tapping against Aegri's plate.
"... And what's the meaning of this, Captain Banders?"
With a half-shrug, Banders raised his hands in innocence.
"That, Miss Holt, is the key to your new suite, up on Deck 44. You've got till the end of today to make the move and turn in your old room's key card–"
"I'm sorry, Captain, but I wasn't informed of this either. Nor will I agree to such a sudden transfer!"
She kept herself from slapping the table this time. Though, it was impossible for Aegri to truly get her point across without wielding a harsh tone.
