In the central area of the Caterpillar Range, four people remained.
A tall but shy-eyed man leaned against the display counter filled with pistols and a few crossbows. "Are you guys sure you don't want to keep shooting? I watch over you for archery or firearms."
The three others were on a nearby sofa or pacing around the couch.
With a slithering tail, Baloo walked back and forth with worried eyes and a twitchy tongue. "I, um, think I'm good…"
"Little Loo, this has nothing to do with us," LaRee spoke up, sipping his first-ever can of ginger ale. "I am satisfied. I can join you at the gun side if you want."
Aegri shook her head. "I appreciate the offer, LaRee, but I'm also feeling fine as is. If Loo wants to, then I don't mind joining him."
All the same, Aegri's gaze often drifted toward the door to the employee-only office.
