Aegri plopped onto a nearby sofa, giving him a stink-eye stare. "Really? A bullet? Come on, it's just a laptop. It's meant to be fast and powerful, not survive a raid. Even if you got attacked, you don't seem like the sort of person that would shield yourself with a PC."
Ayse nodded in acknowledgment. "That's fair. So I'll let you have the fast one while I lug this thing around. I got it for a steal, so I'm pretty happy myself.
"By the way," Ayse looked to his brother still in the corridor past the entryway, "do you mind picking up Loo? Seems like he's still out and about. Though I doubt he's anywhere other than Late, Late Tavern."
"Then I shall go get him." LaRee turned to leave with a wave over his shoulder. "I leave Miss Boss in your care."
Alone with Ayse, Aegri showed a pouting frown. "What now? You're acting like this is just the norm."
