Baloo's hissing shout burst out of the old-looking townhome, just as Baloo strode out of the haunted house.
Aegri was only a step behind him. She evaded his wagging tail while keeping pace with the titanic teen. Her face was somewhat pale, but color was already trickling back into her cheeks. "That was… quite the experience."
"Where to next, Boss Sis?" the lizard man dropped back to a knee while smiling over his shoulder. "You let me pick this one. So you should pick the next few."
"In that case… Let's start making our way toward Wondaton. I'm not sure how long it will take to cross the Dark Woods. And if we want to grab lunch at the Late, Late Tavern, we should do it before LaRee takes over." Aegri pulled a stray strand of hair out of her face. She rolled her platinum blonde hair into a bun before hopping back onto Baloo's shoulder.
