With Ayse stepping away from the group, the others took a moment of silence to look around the glass-encased lounge filled with modern extravagance.
At the center was the large, double-entrance elevator. Exiting either side led guests to tables, chairs, sofas, and more. To port was a row of restaurants. To starboard was a row of souvenir and trinket shops.
Around the shops, restaurants, and lounge was an enormous walkway. It circled the edges of the tower and allowed all guests a chance to stare into the abyssal dymension or back onto the deck with an unmatched view, all behind the safety of reinforced glass.
"... What do you guys think?"
"About what do I think, Miss Boss?" LaRee asked.
"About what just happened. About Ayse killing those Autocracy soldiers like they were nothing," Aegri clarified, glancing at Ayse standing in line to place an order. "Was that not surprising to see? Or did you expect him to do that?"
