The woman appeared unrattled. Her cordial stance never wavered.
But her inner dialogue shifted. *Who… does this kid think he is? He could be my nephew he's so young… A no-name kid has no use acting like a big shot…*
Despite her internal pep talk, the woman looked away from Ayse the instant she caught wind of his supposedly friendly yet subtly threatening smile.
"Miss Aegri, I forgot to ask. What was it that brought you to our wonderful cruiser?"
The guide now focused on the only other female in the group. Of course, Aegri also happened to be the only person not selectively related to Ayse, according to the reptilian teen at least.
