Far from the destructive commotion of downtown, one of the few vehicles crossing into the city from the Falaway suburb was a limo. It was a stretch limo coasting over the asphalt with its windshield wipers trying their hardest to swipe away at the downpouring rain.
"Hmm…" A gruff voice murmured from the backseat, "Goddamn civil planets. You can't even get a decent car here."
The tall man was seated, leaning back into his seat as much as possible. He tilted his head down at his phone. The screen light shined on his face, revealing some half-formed bags under his eyes.
Yet the man still took the time to wear a white, button-down blouse with slacks. And his black leather gloves seemed extra sharp while tucked under the cuffs of the blouse's long sleeves.
