"That means prices are both negotiable and nonnegotiable," Ayse deduced, making sure LaRee heard him. "It all depends on how uptight the vendors are, and how persuasive we can be as customers."
Ol' Harold shrugged and snickered, "I suppose that's one way y'all can look at it."
Tapping the side of LaRee's shoulder, Ayse commented, "Let's find you some handaxes first."
LaRee nodded and stopped fighting the stench around him.
"Handaxes? If y'all want weapons, I know a guy. Follow me." Harold strolled between the cramped booths without batting an eye.
The duo followed without question until they found the skinny, backpack-wearing bum leaning over a few wooden tables.
Harold motioned with his hand towards the weapons atop the table and slid onto a rack. All the while, three rotund vendors of varying heights waved to the incoming customers.
"Meet my go-to vendors for most anything y'all could need," Harold introduced the three men.
