It was a raining day in Mitch mellow a small town where everyone was running under the rain looking for shelter
Mia was standing near the window slowing watching as everyone running because of the the rain.
"Mom why is it so raining in this town almost everyday" Mia asked sipping her tea and asking her mom who was sitting on a chair in the sitting room which maturely designed with white and blue paint on the wall and a TV plasma placed on the wall with her eyes closed
"It's nature and the town is bless"her mom answered as she began to open her eyes looking at her daughter direction who was busy just staring at the rain

"Guess what baby I have sent one of my cousin Joel to look for a university in this town and he found one for you"she said in a slight excitement as she walked up to me putting my tea aside holding my hands putting on a wide smile on her lips
This woman was impossible I just asked her a question and she pretended I didn't even speak
"Mom I just asked you a question"Mia asked thinking she will somehow get her to talk as she pushed her mom's hand away from hers glaring at her mom confused

"Okay get ready I heard the university will be taking an exam for the new student there will be taking it on Saturday I hope you start reading now because I don't want you to fail"she said in a cold expression as walked away from her heading towards the door "I will be back am going for some shopping we are out of groceries and don't open the door for anyone it's not safe"
"Damn it"I stump my feet on the floor and ran into my room slamming the door hard and I heard our main door closed I sat one my bed remembering how we got to this state

Mia and her mom was happily living okay in their previous town Mia would prepare for school and her mom would head for work Mia didn't get to know her father her mom claimed he got into an accident and couldn't make it
So one evening Mia and her mom was busy chatting when her mom received a phone call and her face turned pale Mia tried asking her mom about it but her mom was in shock and she just told her to pack her things and they where heading for another town Mia couldn't resist and she just obeyed her mom not knowing what was going on and then they moved to Smitty woods and there stayed there for almost one year
And again there received another phone call from that she number
"What....I know ..... don't worry I will live as possible" her mom said as she hung up looking pale again
"Mom what happened"Mia asked as she rushed to where her mom sat hopping to get answers
"It's nothing honey will have to live for another town"my mom said looking pale as she was removing the hair from my face
"What mom I can't leave I can't leave the new friends I made here"Mia shouted as she got up from the chair giving her mom a dead glare
"Baby I promise will explain everything wants we get to the town okay I promise"she said looking at the door as if someone was going to appear
So we packed our things and headed for the car but as we were about to get in I hard someone calling my name from behind and then I turned to see it was Erica my bestie Erica was my bestie since we moved to this place and I saw her running towards me

"Mia that's enough we have to go get in the car"my mom said as she drag me inside the car and as Erica hand and mine patted my heart ache as if it was going to burst so we got in the car and as I look back I saw Erica still standing waving at me and I waved at back and we snooze off

And then Mia heard the main door opened and her mom was back so she left her room and headed for the dinning so getting there she saw her mom brought out what she bought and place it one the table
Mia couldn't take the sight and she ran grabbing the raw meat her mom bought so ripping the meat and eating it widely as if she hasn't eating for a whole year
And her mom joined her eating the raw meat.
But Mitch mellow town didn't know they have two dangerous creatures
So it was Saturday and Mia was getting ready for her exam taking her bath putting on some clothes
She was clad in a long pair of leather jeans and short top putting on a leather jacket to cover the short top and a long boot because the town was cold grabbing her bag and headed for the dinning table when she saw raw meat placed on the tablet and she sat and started tearing up the meat so after she and mom was done her mom volunteer to drop her off at school but at first she refused and she later agreed
Getting to the university which as a very large gate and height fence
"University of Marygland" mia muttered under her breath staring at the university through the car window and she was amazed by the view seeing some students going in and out
"Mia don't forget what we discussed don't enter anything called lunchroom don't allow anyone decieve you in eating with them okay and here this is your paper in looking for your class you are going to write the exam"Mia mom said looking worried why patting Mia hair, mia one the other hand was always wondering why her mom usually said that ever since there got Smitty woods there previous town the most strangest thing is that her mom always banned her from going to Erica house instead she Erica was the person who came to her house and the most strangest thing is that her mom always warn her not to inform Erica that she eat raw meat and she should keep it a secret
And Mia always think it's normal because their previous town before Smitty woods every one eat raw meat so she tried asking her mom about it but her mom told her that they were different from the people from Smitty woods and Mitch mellow that their secret shouldn't know and it's better not talk about it

So I was wondering around and I got confused at the paper map staring at it I noticed someone walking towards my direction

"Yes please can you show me the way there"I asked showing her the paper
"Oh yes this is the place am taking my exam too" she said in excitement why looking at paper so that she won't be mistaking
"Ohh you are writing you exam too I thought you were a student how come did you get to know the place in day because I was hell confused"I asked her
"Ohh I just love knowing of map and am a good detective"she joked and we both laughed

So after our exam livi convince me to follow her to the lunch room but I told her I was not hungry but she kept insisting so I couldn't refused her so getting there I saw her ordering for some strange food I heard her call french fries, Burger, and a cold Pepsi I was dumb stuck I have never seen this food before. in my previous town before Smitty woods all of us eat the same food which was raw meat that was what I was grown with I have never this even in Smitty woods I didn't get the chance to come out because I was always inside the house and best friend was the only person that came to my house which was why she was my friend.
"Mia are you okay you have been staring at this food for a long time"she asked raising her eyebrows
"Come we should look for a place to sit"livi said has she hold my hands looking for a place to sit and we found one which was empty
