Chapter 2 - Home of The Sith

Ragu's eyes slowly open. The room around him is unfamiliar. Unlike the hull of the freighter he had been brought in on, the floor here is smooth and clean.

Pulling himself off the ground, he realizes the chains on his wrists and ankles where no longer there. Instead, he felt a heavy metal device on the back of his neck.

"Where am I?" He asks, as he stands up and looks around the room.

The room is very dark, the walls made of a deep colored stone and dark metals. It's filled with simple furniture and many strange artifacts that Ragu can't recognize.

"So your awake." A familiar voice asks.

Turning around, Ragu recognizes the Sith Lord that had purchased him.

Realizing the situation, he bows his head, "Hello. I greet the great Sith."

The man can't help but chuckle at this. "Oh don't worry. I didn't 'purchase' you for myself."

"Then?" Ragu asks hesitantly.

He is torn between needing more information on his situation, and his fear of the man in front of him.

"Your a gift for my daughter. She is entering the academy this year, and I decided to get her a force sensitive servant to help her within the academy." The Sith Lord says with a smirk.

"What? Force sensitive?" Ragu asks, temporarily forgetting his fear at the revelation.

"Enough questions brat. I believe I have already been quite hospitable to a mere slave."

Realizing his mistake, Ragu quickly bows his head again, sweat dripping down his brow. "I apologize my lord. I just was shocked to learn that."

Ragu truly is shocked! He can use the force! He is to become Sith! This is perfect.

Although he is to be a slave, this is the best possible outcome. Being force sensitive makes him far more valuable than a normal slave. So much so that even as a slave he is being granted the opportunity to become Sith!

At the thought, he can't help but to smile. 'Perhaps this curse is more a blessing.' He chuckles to himself.

The power…. Ragu vividly remembers the overwhelming power that had flowed into him when the Sith had forced the dark side energy through his body.

It…. Felt good. For a moment, before he passed out he felt as if he could do anything!

His entire life, he has lived in fear. Fear of the monsters that attacked his tribe, fear of the nightsisters who stole and killed his family and friends. Fear of the slavers who captured him. And fear of the Sith Lord who had purchased him.

In all his 16 years of his life…. He has never felt so elated.

"Sith…. I am to become Sith…." He mutters.

As he does so, the door swings open revealing the Sith's daughter.

Raising his eyes, the boy freezes. This time, not out of fear, but out of surprise. He feels as if time stops for him for a moment as he gazes at the girl.

The girl in front of his was shockingly beautiful. She is rather short for a girl, standing at 5ft at most, her blood red flawless skin seems to be as smooth as silk, her beautiful deep raven black hair falls down the her lower shoulders, her deep orange amber eyes are truly enchanting, and her figure is that of a goddess.

Looking at the Zabrak in front of her, her eyes seem to glow in excitement.

"Is this him father?" She asks, a soft smile gracing her lips.

"That's right. Not only is he force sensitive, but he already has a good amount of experience as a warrior. He was born and raised on Dathomir." The Sith states.

She walks around Ragu, inspecting his shirtless body. "Raise your arms." She demands.

Finally regaining his senses, Ragu raises his arms, suppressing the blush spreading across his face.

Ragu's body is impressive even for a zabrak. His muscles are lean and strong, his torso is covered in scars left behind from his battles. Despite the scars, they are still at peak performance.

After a few moments of inspecting his body, she looks upwards at his face, making direct eye contact with Ragu.

He stares back, suppressing any emotions to the best of his ability.

"Lower yourself." She demands.

Ragu wants to refuse, but unfortunately he is not in a position to do so.

After he does so, she reaches up and grabs his mouth, forcing it open and looking inside at his teeth, inspecting them.

Ragu can't help but growl in annoyance. Being treated like this is very irritating, no matter who is doing it.

Hearing him growl, she glares at him.

"Father, can I have that?" She asks, pointing towards something that Ragu can't see.

"Here you go dear." He replies with a smirk.

Then, after only a moment, Ragu collapses the the ground in pain. Strong electrical pulses tear through his body from the metal device on the back of his neck.

Ragu screams out in pain, his body contorting in different directions.

"Please! Stop!" He groans through the shocks.

The shocking continues for a few moments as he continues to wither in pain before it finally comes to an end.

"Are you going to behave now?" She asks looking down with a soft smile at Ragu.

Ragu groans as he slowly begins pulling himself off the ground. "Yeah. Sorry." He groans in pain. He has no intention of getting shocked like that again.

She giggles softly, covering her mouth with her hand.

"Good! He will do nicely father. Thank you for the wonderful gift." She says politely while bowing her head.

"Of course. After all, this is an investment in your talents." He says with an dark smile.

"Don't disappoint me Kaida." He warns with a dangerous expression, the room plummeting in temperature.

Seeing the change in her father's demeanor, Kaida grimaces in fear.

Although her father, Darth Galor, is more tolerant than most other Sith, he was still a Sith. He demands perfection from his daughter…. And if she were to become useless…. She shivers at the thought.

"I won't father. I will graduate top of my class, then I will become your apprentice. Just like we agreed upon." She responds, kneeling on the ground in front of her father.

"Good. Now, begone, it is almost time for you to join the academy…. Good luck Kaida."
