Alexander woke up with a start, his head throbbing with pain. He tried to sit up but his body felt weak and heavy, like he had been drugged. He looked around, trying to figure out where he was, but all he could see was darkness.
As his eyes adjusted to the dim light, he realized he was lying in a narrow alleyway, surrounded by garbage cans and overflowing trash bags. The air was thick with the stench of decay and sewage.
He groaned, feeling a sense of confusion and disorientation wash over him. He couldn't remember how he got there or what had happened to him.
Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his neck, and he instinctively reached up to touch the spot. That's when he noticed two small puncture wounds, surrounded by dried blood.
He gasped, realizing what it meant. He had been bitten by a vampire, and now he was one of them.
He shuddered, feeling a chill run down his spine. He had heard stories about vampires, but he never believed they were real. Now, he was one of them, and he had no idea what it meant for his future.
As he tried to come to terms with his new reality, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching. He turned to see a group of vampires making their way towards him, their eyes fixed on him with a hunger that made his blood run cold.
