It's been a month since I got reincarnated. Being a baby is really difficult. You can't do anything by yourself. People around you can't understand what you are trying to say.
Eat, sleep, eat, sleep, repeat. That's just my daily routine. In my past life, my parents died early because of a landslide. My sister and I grew up in the slums. She worked so hard to finance my school and our everyday living.
Jude and I grew up together. He's an orphan and his grandma was the one who was looking after him. Right in the middle of his 10th birthday, grandma collapsed and died a few days later in the hospital.
So we decided to adopt Jude. I mean, without any legal papers involved but still, we welcomed him to the family. I treated him as a brother yet in the end, just because of a mere woman he stabbed us in the back.
Jude met Britney in a club. She was a frequent customer there. At first she tried to get my attention by 'accidentally' spilling her drink on me. You might think that I'm making some baseless assumptions, but I don't.
I'm not stupid not to notice the subtle gaze she's giving me when trying to have a conversation with me. The occasional licking of her lower lip whenever her eyes landed on my lips. I'm a businessman and it's very important that you know how to read a person's overall quality based on how she acts and the way she talks.
Then one time, I brought Jude to the bar to drink and console his broken heart. Jude's got a bit low eq and iq. he can't think for himself. If there's a problem, he solved it by using his fists. That's why he has to be within my sights to avoid serious problems.
My sister didn't go to college as well as Jude. They said that I'm the smartest among the three of us that's why it's better for me to graduate first.
So when we went there together, coincidentally (or not) she was there, again. When she saw me bringing a friend for the first time, she walked straight to me and tried to link her arms in mine but I told her to f*ck off.
Jude was then told me to not treat girls harshly. Then she went to Jude and linked her arms with him while introducing herself. my eyebrow twitched with annoyance. And after that, they hooked up.
I shouldn't have trusted him when he told me they never contacted each other after that. And because of that, shit happened.
"He looks intelligent"
"Indeed. He doesn't cry at all when he's hungry or when his diapers are full"
His dad and mom are talking about him. Whispering words to each other about him. And what he hates the most about being a baby? That's when they do lovey dovey in front of him!
"He looks good. I bet he'll make a lot of girls cry in the future"
"I don't doubt that. I am his father after all. I look good from head to toe"
"Let me see.." his mother playfully said.
"Oh honey, you can even taste them if u want" his father replied with a smirk.
'Excuse me!???' At least put me back in my room before you two start eating each other!
