Noah and Alex had been standing close to the First Year Female hostel for some time now. They didn't just stand at the gate, this is due to the fact that maybe an Anti-meta Human Officer might see them and they didn't want that. Instead they stayed close to the walls. They circled the hostel several times. The hostel was large, the two didn't know each other much and didn't talk even a bit.
It was quiet between the two, only their footsteps could be heard and finally Noah decided to break the silence.
"How do you feel about your people back in the Settlement?" He asked Alex.
Alex didn't give him a reply immediately, he turned his head to look at Noah who was by his left side and said, "I feel bad for getting all of them in that situation because of what I did."
"Do you think the King would keep his promise?" Alex asked Noah, "you are a Royal Guard and you are one of the few guards very close to the King."
"Listen," Noah said touching his bald head with his left hand, "the King mostly plays by the rules many times, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't break a promise if he wants to."
There was now a bit silence in the room as Noah was processing what Noah had just said. 'does this mean, the King would break our agreement' Alex thought worried, 'My mom, My sister, why did I put them into this'.
Alex was sad and thesame time angry, he clenched his fists hard to Noah's hearing. The two of them were still circling the hostel when he clenched his fist. Due to Noah's vampire eyes, he could hear the fists clenched sound loudly. He stopped and then turned his gaze to Alex and said, "You know if you want the King to play by the rules, there is a way you can make him, or let's say force him to comply."
"What would that be, please anything... I don't want anything bad to happen to my mother and sister, all this mess was all my fault," Alex said thinking about the past. His past life in the Vampire Settlement that led to this.
"You know Dhampirs are a threat-" Noah couldn't complete his speech because Alex interrupted him.
"What are you saying, don't tell me..." Alex stopped himself from completing his speech, he didn't want to go further. Something in him told him that Noah wasn't happy about the King's daughter existence.
"She is a friend of mine," Alex admitted.
"I didn't say we should kill her-" Noah said.
"You Vampires always kill anything you see as a threat!" Alex shouted interrupting Noah's speech.
"Enough!" Noah shouted at him with so much anger that his hand went to touch the hilt of his blade by his side subconsciously.
"I don't want to end her life after all, she is a Dhampir. I know she is a threat." Noah stopped for a bit and then continued, "you would keep her hostage with that you can control the King to free your mother and sister."
"I would help you capture her. You told me she knows how to perform Magic, so I would make sure I help you subdue her in one hit," Noah said again.
"Thank you so much," Alex said. Even if Catherine was his friend, he needed to protect his mother and sister and she was the only way.
"Hold my hand," Noah said bringing his right hand forward. Alex touched the hand and in an instant his body started to vibrate fast. Noah grabbed his body and both of the phased through the door.
After they passed the door, Noah deactivated the skill. It came from his armour.
"Do you know her room number?" Noah asked.
"No I don't," Alex replied.
"It would have been easy if she didn't have a human smell," Noah said a bit angry which made Alex worry a bit.
"Do you know where the hostel warden sleeps. Maybe we can get information from her?" Noah asked.
Alex nodded indicating a 'Yes'. The hostel was built like theirs. So the hostel warden's office should be where their's is.
Noah and Alex phases through the door again entering the hostel warden's room. The hostel warden was sleeping in her bed in her nightgown.
Noah smiled looking at her. He went to sit by her side of the bed and gave her a simple touch in the thigh area. She woke up Instantly out of fear, her sleepy eyes were finding it hard to open and when it did, she could see two men in her room.
Before she could scream... "Silence!" Noah commanded, his eyes red, and her mouth instantly couldn't utter a word. It was like her lips were sealed. No matter how hard she tried, it wouldn't open.
"Tell me where Catherine's room is." Noah demanded.
The hostel warden said the room number and the next words that came from Noah's mouth were, "Sleep," he said and instantly she went back to sleep like nothing happened.
"Wait, you forgot to tell her to forget everything that just happened," Alex said as Noah got up from the bed.
It was normal for Vampires to always stay hidden. Alex was worried that since Noah didn't tell the lady to forget what happened here. He might come to end her life sooner or later.
Noah didn't say a thing and instead walked to Catherine's room. He did the usual causing both Alex and himself to phase through the door.
When they got inside the room, it was neat and clean. A pink curtain could be seen, it looked a bit luxurious. Seeing this Alex knew this was Emily's doing, she and Lillian were Catherine's roomate.
Noah acted quickly, injecting her neck before Alex could react. Catherine opened her eyes briefly in shock and terror, but as her energy faded, her eyes struggled to stay open. Her mouths couldn't open, her strength was decreasing and in a rapid rate. The only thing she could do was forcefully keep her eyes open.
Noah carried Catherine in a bridal style away from the bed. He carried her to the door. Alex behind him, Catherine's eyes meet Alex's. Alex couldn't look at her, he bent down his head in shame for what he was going to do.
Noah made the three of them phase through the entire place and they arrived in the woods, although far away from where the Vampires and Werewolves were having their fight.
Alex stayed away from Catherine, leaving Noah with Catherine alone. He sat on the dry floor, his head bent down slightly in shame. He was feeling guilty for what he had just done.
Suddenly, a sound shattered the silence. It was the sound of a blade leaving it's shealth. Alex turned his head backwards to see what had made that noise.
Behold, Noah was standing very close to Catherine, his sword raised high as he was about to strike her neck...
