Chapter 412 - A Different Werewolf

[Congratulations! Minion 4 Has Evolved]

[New Power Received!]

[Minion 4 Appearance is no longer that of a normal Werewolf]

[Minion 4 would now have long sharp tail]

[Minion 4's skin would now be green, Minion 4 would have spikes at his back]

Those words flickered at Miller's retina. He started to think again, this Vampire just used his sword to pierce Jacob in the heart and instead of dying Jacob would be evolving, but strangely, Jacob's wasn't going through any form of pain. In fact the wound on his chest hadn't closed.

The Vampire put his blade back into its sheath, he didn't say anything to Miller and Watson. The Vampire looked at them for a few seconds and the left the room at an amazing speed. His body phased through the window, so it didn't shatter.

Watson who had been by the door side ran to where Jacob lay, he knelt down to see Jacob's body. Looking at Jacob's body, Watson could see that the hole in his chest was closing and very fast.

Miller looking at this was a bit surprised. 'His healing is even faster than mine' He thought.

After the wound closed, Jacob's fingers started to flinch. Although his eyes were still close, Miller had a smile on his face.

"Jacob is alive, Watson." Miller said placing his hand on Watson's left shoulder.

Watson turned his head to look at Miller, his eyes sad, "That's good to know," Watson said standing up and went to sit on his bed.

He used both of his palms to cover his eyes like a child, swinging back and forth like a child. Miller knew what this meant, Watson was trying to pursue some thoughts away from his head.

"Your friends are really funny," the System said in Miller's head, "really strange."

Miller chuckled to himself, "He is my best friend, I know him more than you, he is lost in thoughts, let me go and meet him," Miller said to the System inside his head.

Miller knew Jacob was still alive, but it seems like he is resting, so he felt like he should talk with his best friend. He walked to where Watson was slowly, step by step, a smile could be seen on his face.

'He is a year older than me. He behaves mature outside this room, but in this room, he is a child,' Miller thought with a smile. It was funny seeing Watson this way.

Miller sat on the bed, he looked at Watson who was by his left side. He touched his shoulder and said, "what thoughts are you trying to erase from your head this time?" Miller asked.

Watson didn't reply.

"I know you are trying to remove some thoughts away, that's when you behave like this, so what thoughts are you trying to remove?" Miller asked again.

Watson twisted his head slightly to gaze at Miller, who was by his right side. "Tell me... You lied..." Watson paused for a moment and said, "why don't you want to make me a Mutant?"

"It doesn't work-" Miller stopped his sentence. It seems like Watson had somehow figured out that it was a lie, how did he figure that out, no one knows.

"Watson...," Miller stated, "having powers comes with responsibility and consequences, like I am always scared that I might one day turn to Killer Mode-"

"No..." Watson said firmly interrupting his speech, "Are you going to turn me or not?" Watson asked.

"No." Miller said bending down his face, not wanting to maintain eye contact at the moment. He frowned, so that Watson wouldn't ask again, but that didn't stop Watson.

"Tell me, If you find out about your father's murderer. What would you do?" Watson asked in a sad tone.

"I would ki-" Miller said looking at Watson in the eye, his eyes turned red for a moment, he stopped himself from continuing the sentence and his eyes went back to normal. "If that's your reason, I won't help you. Killing would make you a murderer like him." Miller said in a soft tone.

"The only thing after Revenge is emptiness..." Miller said again, "Emptiness, Watson, nothing but emptiness."

"I thought we were beat friends?" Watson asked, tears dropping down his cheek. "Please grant me this favour, Let me avenge my parents death. The government didn't do anything for more than a decade because I am from a poor background, please let me avenge their death, Miller. Can you give me this one favour?"

"I am sorry," Miller said in a sad tone as he stood up from the bed, he looked at Watson briefly and said, "I hope you understand."

Watson shaked his head indicating a 'NO'.

"He was right." Watson whispered.

Miller had moved about three steps away from Watson, but his super hearing had picked it up. Miller smiled and then turned his head to look at Watson and said, "So now you understand."

"It's not you," Watson said, "do you know how I knew that you lied?"

"It was an unknown person, he was dressed in brown sack clothes that covered his entire face and body. Looking at his, all I could see was darkness-" Watson sentence was later interrupted by Miller's sudden reply.

"That guy!" Miller shouted amazed.

"What, do you know him?" Watson asked stunned by Miller's sudden reaction.

"Watson," Miller said as he went closer to his friend, he sat down on the bed again, "that very person was the one who had teleported me to the place I got attached to the System."

"If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have gotten attached to the Sysem in the first place." Miller continued, "It was because of him, I meet the System. So tell me what did he tell you?"

Watson smiled, "although he didn't tell me about him helping you in kidana-"

"Citarada," Miller corrected him as they both laughed, "It's Planet Citarada."

"Thanks, Citarada, he didn't tell me he helped you, he told me I have a big role to help you in the future. I thought maybe that meant I would get powers from you." Watson said, "without me asking, it was like the person could read my thoughts, he replied, telling me that it would be one day, but certainly not today, nor this month or this very year."

"He told me I have a big role to play..." Watson paused for a second and then continued. "He told me my life is crucial, that I am needed in... Something called... Time War."

At the same time, the System thought to itself, 'What the hell is my master doing.'

"Time War..." Miller repeated the words excitedly, he was trying to remember where he had heard those words from.

"System" Miller said excitedly, he remembered he had heard the System said those words accidentally.

[THE SYSTEM ISN'T GOING TO DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT 'THE TIME WAR']

The System didn't reply, but instead those words appeared in red colour at Miller's retina.

"Damnit!" Miller said looking at Watson, "did he tell you anything about that war, the system doesn't want to give me any information about it."

"I don't know," Watson said, "all I know is that I am crucial for that so called War. I understand that one day, you would need me." Watson said smiling and also giving his best friend a hug.

The sound of somebody's body shaking aggressively could now be heard. The two boys looked at Jacob on the floor and now they could see him, his body was changing in size rapidly, he grew up to seven feet tall, his body was covered in green furs, he still looked like a normal Werewolf except for his sharp tail and green colour. His claws became sharper, at his back, little spikes up to fifteen or more could be seen extending to the tail. The tail is about seven feet long.

Jacob stood on his feet. His muscles were large, he looked at his body in amazement.

Watson and Miller looked at him in awe.

"Miller, I think you have created a different Werewolf." Watson said to his best friend.
