Shockingly it was the first words that came from Jacob's mouth. Instead of a 'thank you'. It was the Werewolf's howl. Jacob's body was still lying on the floor and he did the howl effortlessly. What Miller noticed was that Jacob's howl was much louder than before.

'Wow.' Miller said that words loudly in his head. "System, do you know if Jacob is going to evolve." Miller asked the System. "Yes surely. Please note that your Minions evolve based on what the way they get stressed, just like Alex, it was due to pressure he mistakenly brought out his Bloodly Burst Ability. We don't know the Ability or Abilities Jacob is going to manifest."

"Don't forget things in that shop are expensive..." The System said.
"Yes, because you made it that way." Miller said to the System. Although the words were harsh, Miller tone was harsh at all.
"Ha ha ha."
The System made a sarcastic laugh in Miller's head. Unlike its usual robotic voice. It was a deep menacing voice.
Miller looked at Jacob, who was still lying on the floor. Miller smiled and asked, "are you okay?"
"Yes, I am..." Jacob said, confused, he used both arms touch his neck, where he had been cut before. "How did you..."
"SHHHH!" Miller said placing his index finger on his own lip. "You are alive, it's all that matters. No questions, Is that okay?"
Jacob nodded a 'Yes', he stretched his hand forward to which Miller helped him get up. "Even if you don't want to tell me now, please promise to tell me before I graduate. I am a second year student, I hope you haven't forgotten."
"Why would I. I can make up a lie for it." Miller said, tapping Jacob's deltoid area.
"Miller please, I am serious," Jacob pleaded. "i felt my life seeping away gradually, my heartbeat was getting slower and slower by the second and all of a sudden, I came back."
"Alright, I will tell you the truth, but that would be when you are going to graduate." Miller said.
Jacob then went on his knees before Miller and said, "I don't know how you did it. But, 'thank you' for a giving me a second chance."
"You don't have to kneel down." Miller said as he used his super strength to drag him on his two feet.
"I owe you a favour, Miller and someday I would help you, just as much as you have helped me." Jacob said.
'The war between the chosen one and that Throsk'Bok will commence one day.' The System thought to itself. Miller couldn't hear it. 'Make sure to leave to see that day, so that you can repay the favor.'
"Don't worry, We are friends, that's what friends do." Miller replied to Jacob's words.
"From today, Miller, your friends are now my friends and your enemies are now my enemies." Jacob said.
"Sophie doesn't think you are alive and if she asks you any question. Tell her your body healed on its own." Miller said changing the topic. He didn't like the way Jacob was threatening as a saviour. He couldn't see himself as a Saviour, he still has his own flaws, most especially the thought he constantly has everyday. 'The thought to find his father's murder and kill him or her.'
"See it's already Ten, let's just quickly run to the hostel." Miller said looking at his watch as the two of them ran at full speed to Miller's hostel.

Although all the Vampires were waiting in the woods. Two Vampires weren't with them and that two were Noah and Alex.
"So you are saying you want me and you to look after her." Alex said. "I can do that alone." Alex was clearly trying to run away from this fight.
"I have told you what you need to know. You either take it or leave it." Noah said. "The king wants me to look at his daughter and I need your help. I don't want to do it alone."
"But why?" Alex asked to which Noah gave him an angry stare.
"It was your job at first!" Noah replied angrily. He then calmed down, looked at Alex in the eye. Noah was dressed from head to toe in beast armour and so where the other Vampires in the woods as well. The Students weren't given any beast armour to where.
"Tell me, I want to ask you something. May I?" Noah asked and this time his back was the one facing Alex instead.
"You may," Alex replied.
Noah chuckled, "It wasn't like I needed your permission to. I am a Royal Knight by the way." Noah said.
'Why are they all like that — The Pride — it's annoying.' Alex thought annoyed.
"Do you know how dangerous a Dhampir can be?" Noah asked, his back still facing Alex.
"Yes, I do... Are you..." Alex said confused, deliberately not completing his sentence, but at the end it escaped his mouth. "Do you plan to kill the Dhampir, she is the King's daughter, we wouldn't get away with it. The King would find out, and lastly, she is a strong Magician."
Noah turned his head, looked at him for a second, and then looked away. "I didn't have such a thought, but you did."
"No... I... I... D-didnt mean... T-that." Alex stuttered in fear.
"Don't worry, no one is going to kill her," Noah said firmly, "the king said we should look after and make sure nothing bad happens. I hope you can help me do that."
"Yes, I can." Alex said confused. 'If we are going to protect her, why is he asking me if I am going to protect. Am i the only one going to do so.' Alex thought confused.
"Alright, let's go look at the female hostel." Noah said as the two of them moved to the female hostel.
'I am sorry, I have to do this Alex.' Noah thought, 'I can't abandon my secret plan and I hope you would understand.'
