Jacob Williams paced his room, his thoughts racing and his heart pounding in his chest. "They're coming for us, I just know it," he muttered to himself, the fear making his voice tremble. "And when they find us, we are dead." He felt like a trapped animal, desperate for a way out but seeing no escape. His entire life had been leading up to this moment, and he felt powerless to stop what was coming.
Jacob, the omega, was not invited to the gathering of werewolves. He stood alone in his room, watching as his roommates hurried out the door earlier today, their faces grim and their eyes filled with fear. He could only guess that something had happened, something to do with the vampires. Had they come to seek revenge? A cold sweat broke out on his brow as his imagination ran wild, conjuring up images of the vampires descending upon the werewolves, their fangs bared and their thirst for blood insatiable. He could only hope that he was wrong, that his fears were unfounded.
Frustration and panic were building within Jacob, and he was at a loss as to what to do. He paced back and forth, muttering to himself and pulling at his hair in frustration. "I'm an omega now, I have no pack, no protection," he said, his voice cracking. "Even if I had a pack, they would be no match for the vampires. What can I do? How can I possibly save myself?" He sank down onto the floor, burying his face in his hands as tears spilled down his cheeks.
*Knock Knock
A sharp knock on the door made Jacob jump, his heart hammering in his chest. He stood frozen in place, afraid to move, afraid to look away from the door. His mind raced, thinking of all the horrible things that could be waiting for him on the other side. Maybe it was one of the vampires, come to finish him off. Or maybe it was the werewolf leader, come to punish him for his lack of strength and courage. He knew he couldn't stay here, frozen in fear, but he was too terrified to move.
A soft voice from behind him whispered, "We're sorry."
Jacob whirled around, claws ready, expecting to find himself face-to-face with a vampire, ready to strike. But there was no one there. His heart pounded in his chest as he tried to get his bearings, his head darting from side to side, looking for the source of the voice. "Who's there?" he demanded, his voice shaking. "Show yourself!" But there was no response, only the sound of his own breathing and the wind rustling through the trees outside.
*Knock Knock
The knocking at the door continued, but it sounded somehow...distant, as if it were coming from a great distance. And now it occurred to Jacob that perhaps the knocking and the presence he felt behind him were not the same thing at all. There might be something or someone else entirely in the room with him. A chill ran down his spine as he strained his eyes in the dim light, searching for any sign of movement.
"Hey, Jacob, Are you In there?" A voice asked from behind the door. Jacob recognized that voice instantly. It was Sophie Smith.
'Why would Sophie want to see me. She is not supposed to interact with an Omega like me,' He thought confused, but he was still in a fighting stance.
He could hear the sound of footsteps in the room in all corners of the room at thesame time. Finding it hard to pinpoint the location made him feel miserable and scared.
Just as Sophie's footsteps faded away, the shadow in the corner of the room began to move. A figure emerged, one that was unlike any creature Jacob had ever seen. It wore a mask that resembled a Japanese demon, and its body was covered in blood-red armor. Its chest bore a twisted crown, and it carried two long swords on its back. As it stepped forward, Jacob's heart stopped. This was no ordinary creature - it was a demon, and it was here for him.
"No, you're not a demon," Jacob said out loud, forcing himself to calm down. But then another thought occurred to him, and it filled him with even greater fear. "You're...you're a vampire!" he cried, his voice trembling.
"No, I'm not," the figure said. Its voice was distorted, deep and ominous, as if it was being amplified by some kind of device. "I'm a dhampir. And I've come to give you a gift..." The figure's tone was gentle, but the words sent a shiver down Jacob's spine.

*Knock Knock
After the unknown figure and Jacob talked for a while another Knock was heard. Jacob just turned his head for a brief moment to look at the door and when he turned back, the unknown person wasn't in his room anymore.
'That was fast, he didn't ask for a proper reply for me before he left.' Jacob thought confused as he went to answer the door. Through the murmurs, he knew they were his roomates, Christopher Morgan and Daniel Thompson.
As he opened the door, he was greeted by a sight he'd never expected - every male werewolf from the second year was standing in the hallway, their faces solemn. He moved aside, letting them all file into his room.
"What's going on?" he asked, unable to contain his curiosity any longer. "Why are you all here?"
One of the werewolves (Ethan Mitchell) stepped forward, his expression grave. "It's about Sophie's husband," he said, and the room went silent.
"Please know that we all saw you as a friend," Christopher said and all the Werewolves sharpened their claws immediately. Tears could be seen in their eyes, "I hope you understand... We have to keep the truth about Sophie's husband away from everyone."
"We are sorry," Daniel Thompson said even tears could be seen in his eyes.
Jacob's heart was beating rapidly, he was the weakest Werewolf and how could he fight all of them at once.
Before the Werewolves made their move, Jacob's shadow started to shake, like it was alive and from the shadow underneath his foot, a First Year Student came out with his body showing a dim green energy all through.
"Sophie told me you would assassinate him," Miller said, "and she was right."
