Chapter 373 - An Omega

Some Hours Later after Jason was informed that he would be turned into an Omega Werewolf. He was brought to the building underneath the School that the Werewolves were usually chained during a Full Moon Night. This happened Thirty Minutes before he went to Miller's room.

The air inside the dimly lit chamber was heavy with anticipation as the werewolf pack prepared to carry out the ritual to strip Jacob of his Beta status and relegate him to the dreaded ranks of the Omega Werewolves. A circle of wolves surrounded him this included both the First Years and the Second Years Students, their eyes gleaming with a mixture of sadness and determination. In the center, Jacob knelt, his heart heavy with the impending transformation.

The chamber's walls were adorned with intricate symbols, drawn in the blood of the pack's ancestors, symbolizing the gravity of the ritual. In the dim light, they seemed to pulse with an eerie energy, casting eerie shadows on the participants.

Sophie, stepped forward, her eyes locked onto Jacob's. Her hand clutched a silver knife, engraved with ancient runes, passed down through generations. It was the instrument of his transformation, a symbol of his fall from grace.

"Jacob," she began, her voice solemn, "you have broken the sacred oath of our pack. The punishment for this betrayal is severe, but it is a path you've chosen for yourself."

Jacob swallowed hard, his throat dry, his eyes darting between the wolves encircling him. He knew he had no choice but to accept his fate.

Sophie raised the silver knife high, the blade glinting menacingly in the dim light. She chanted incantations in a language older than time itself, calling upon the spirits of their ancestors to witness this solemn act. As she recited the words, the room seemed to tremble, and a chilling wind swept through the chamber.

With each word spoken, Sophie's grip on the knife tightened, her eyes never leaving Jacob's. The ritual had begun.

As the incantations reached a crescendo, Sophie slashed the silver knife across Jacob's chest. Pain erupted through him as the blade cut deep, drawing both blood and a tormented cry from his lips. The blood oozed from the wound, glowing with an otherworldly light.

The pack members watched in silence, their hearts heavy with sorrow for their fallen comrade. In an unspoken understanding, they knew they must follow through with the ritual, for the sake of their pack's sanctity.

As the blood dripped from Jacob's chest, it pooled at his feet and began to form intricate patterns on the chamber's floor. Symbols and sigils, unknown to all but the most ancient of werewolves, took shape, binding Jacob's fate as an Omega Werewolf.

But the most telling sign of his transformation was in his eyes. They shifted from their once-vibrant yellow to a haunting, icy blue. It was a mark of his disgrace, an unmistakable sign that he was no longer part of the pack, abandoned and forsaken.

The ritual complete, Sophie lowered the silver knife, her expression unyielding. "Jacob, you are no longer one of us. You are now an Omega Werewolf, forever marked by your betrayal."

Jacob's shoulders slumped, his spirit broken, and his once-proud howl now silenced. He had been cast out, a lone wolf in a world filled with dangers, his destiny forever altered by his actions.

The chamber's atmosphere remained charged with an eerie energy as the pack members dispersed, leaving Jacob alone in the circle of symbols that marked his transformation. The pain in his chest throbbed, matching the emptiness he felt within. He was an Omega now, and the path ahead was uncertain, dangerous, and filled with challenges he could never have imagined.

Jacob had just informed them what had happened and Watson and Miller had also understood what an Omega is.

Due to the Story of the War of Olds told to them by Alex, they knew how dangerous a Vampire would be and as Jacob is alone he would be an easy target for the Vampire.

"Don't worry Jacob, i would try my best to protect you." Miller said placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Are You Crazy!" Alex shouted at him. "You can't defeat the Vampires just because you have powers, how can you save him, if you can't save yourself. Like i said, the Vampires would silence all those that are present."

"They wouldn't hesitate to silence you as a friend. I would advice you to back down from this Miller." Alex concluded.

"How can i. He is also my Friend." Miller replied in a sad tone as he wasn't happy about what had happened to Jacob.

"I really care for Jacob, i do, but this is not how things ought to be done." Alex said and then looked at Watson and said. "Am I not right?" He asked.

"If he doesn't come out and hides in his room would the Vampires know?" Watson asked.

"Oh, Yes, the Vampires are smart and they have been able to create devices that can make them locate any Werewolf better." Alex replied. "I would Advice you both to back down."

"I am sorry. I think I can't." Miller said firmly.

When the curfew hit, Jacob went to his room. When he saw his roommates, he bowed down his head in shame. His two roommates were Werewolves and they came to cheer him up.

Leaving a pack was a big disgrace to a Werewolf and was something nobody would wish for his Enemy.

"We know it's hard," one of the roommates said. "But you're not alone. We're still here for you, no matter what."

Jacob looked up at them, his eyes filled with gratitude. Despite his exile, he still had friends who cared about him. He didn't know what the future held, but he knew he wasn't alone.

Over to Miller's side, he was on his bed and his room was quiet.

"Now are you going to tell me, or should i ask first." Miller said in his head to the System.

"Fine." The System replied in a somehow tired tone. "Let me tell you why I Advise you not to bother about Love as You Are a THROSK'BOK."
