The name Nightshade was one her mom had informed her of. It was a name that her Biological Vampire Father used to bear. Catherine has no clue of who her Father is. She just knows that he is a Vampire who has died. Hearing what Nightshade was in the Vampire Settlement. Her head started to run through many theories.
She knew for certain that Vampires were immortal and could have a certain age look for thousands of years and only changing a bit. She was starting to think that maybe a man about One Thousand Plus years older than her mother was her Father.
Yet, she couldn't just jump into conclusions as their could be other Vampires bearing thesame name and one of them could be her late Father. But she still needed more answer from her Mother.
'I need to know the Truth.' Catherine thought frustrated as the group was going to the School Hall for an important announcement.
Whenever Catherine always asked her mom about her Father. Her Mom would always reply her with:
"I will tell you everything when i think you are ready!"
Catherine had never felt like to know the entire truth about her Father until now. To be honest, she was informed that her Father was dead, but if someone was to ask her what was the cause of her Father's death. She would definitely have no answer to such question.
'I would find out the truth, when this Semester is over.' Catherine thought to herself again.
This time almost clenching her fist and her face looked angry. What if her Father was Alive? She had always wanted a Father growing up. It wasn't like she didn't like her Grandpa, but seeing other Kids with their Dad made her feel a bit lonely on the inside and she couldn't tell her mom that even when she was a child. Has her Father being alive this whole time? If Yes, Does he know he has a Daughter? If Yes, Why did he not come to meet her? If Yes, Would the Very Reason he didn't come be very good enough.
So many questions were in her head and she couldn't stop thinking. She felt like Creating a portal to teleport to her home immediately to ask either her Mom or her Grandpa this questions. But she didn't do it and just try her best to ignore it.
But it would be certainly hard. Whenever she looks at Alex, she would remember the Story and so she decided to look at another person. Miller; The boy who she found extremely handsome and was gradually growing feelings for him, but was too shy to tell him.

The School Hall was filled with Students and lecturers with Soldiers everywhere. The Seats were almost filled and people could be seen walking to and fro looking for the perfect spot to seat.
As the group entered the School Hall. Miller with his good eyesight was able to sight Emily sitting close to Jason and his right arm wrapped around the corner. They were sitting very far away and due to the crowd of people present, a human eye would not have seen them. But Miller had seen them. It might be because Jealousy was fueling it.
"It's like she forgot we existed..." Miller mistakenly mumbled out and stopped instantly. He only wanted to say this in his brain to the System so that it could share him up, but he had accidentally said it out.
"What?" Watson said and the others looked at Miller confused as to what he had just said.
Watson who was Miller's closest friend could guess what Miller meant, but pretended to be dumb in the situation and a small smile could be seen on his face.
All of them went to sit on their seat. By Miller's right was Watson and by Watson's right was Lillian and by Lillian's right was Catherine who seemed to be still deep in thoughts as she didn't talk to anyone of them on her way here.
"Miller was that question directed to me?" The System asked.
"Yes it initially was, but don't worry about it." Miller said. "You are not a Human, how can you understand how i feel, you are Just a System..."
"I am sorry." Miller apologized as he felt like he had just insulted the System.
"It's fine. I know that i am just a SYSTEM. But at least, i know a thing or two about living beings like Humans and one of them is the fact that you all can feel Jealous, when the person you admire is with someone else." The System said. "Isn't that what you are feeling right now? Jealous?" The System asked, while it already knew the answer.
"Yes." Miller said giving a big sigh. "You are really smart. If you were a Human. You might even be the Smartest Human to exist."
"Not might, I would." The System said correcting him. The system was a little offended that he was underestimated by this boy.
"Miller, I don't think that as a Throsk'Bok, you should even fall in love with someone and mostly human." The system said to Miller's surprise.
"What do you mean. Why can't i? I still have feelings as a Human and look like a Human." Miller complained.
"I would tell you the Sad Part of being a Throsk'Bok after this School Hall meeting." The System replied.
"But why not now." Miller complained.
The System didn't reply Miller and this anger Miller more and more. It was clear the System was ignoring him.
'Why can't the System just obey my command.' He thought a bit annoyed. 'It's always keeping me on the edge. Besides it is staying in my brain 'rent free' and sometimes annoying.'

After some time, the entire School Hall was filled and the person that was to address them was Bradley.
Bradley was dressed in his usual Anti-Meta Human Officers uniform.
"You might all be wondering where Principal Colonel Benjamin Henderson is." Bradley said as he stood on the Poddium close to a microphone and thus elevating the volume of his voice.
"This is because Principal Colonel Benjamin Henderson is no more." Bradley said again. "He has been murdered."
