Today everyone was informed that there would be an important meeting in the School Hall at around 10am. But before that Miller, Alex and Lillian went to the School Cafeteria. In the school Cafeteria, they meet their other colleagues Lillian and Catherine.
As for Emily, she was sitting with Jason Turner who was happy and was talking along with his other friends. Seeing Emily with Jason and Jason's arm wrapped around her shoulder. Miller felt a bit jealous.
'Well, i guess i am not her standard after all.' Miller thought.
They all sat on a table after taking their dishes. "Miller, I am glad your forearms are back." Catherine said to Miller with a smile.
"Yeah, it's going to heal anyway." Miller replied back with a smile.
"What's with the smile?" Watson asked looking at the both of them.
"I wanted to say thesame thing." Lillian said.
"No... nothing out of the ordinary." Catherine said. "Is there any thing we would like to talk about. I mean any new gist." Catherine said trying to change the topic.
"I have something to say." Alex spoke up. "But first, have any of you heard the latest news about Mr. Benjamin?" Alex asked.
"Which one!" Miller replied. "We are not supposed to say such things here."
They couldn't talk about Principal Colonel Benjamin Henderson in public, nor could they talk about Benjamin Carter in public. There were other Vampires and Werewolves in the Cafeteria and they shouldn't.
Miller realized that Alex had a serious look on his face and that Alex seemed concerned about something. So Miller decided to play along. "Okay, Alex. Let's go somewhere private so you can tell us what you know." Miller said.
"That's a great idea!" Alex replied. "We can go to the nearby park. I'll tell you all what I found out."
"What's up with the secrecy?" Watson asked.
"I'll explain once we get to the park." Alex replied, his expression still serious.
They all made their way out of the school and headed towards the park that was a short walk away. When they arrived at the park, they found a bench to sit on. Alex looked around and then whispered to them.
"I am not supposed to tell you guys this, but i feel like it is necessary." Alex whispered. "It's about the Vampires, they are coming very soon. Sooner than expected."
The others all gasped and looked at Alex in disbelief. "So what does that have to do with any of us. I am still human at the end of the day." Lillian said shrugging her shoulders.
"It's not what you might think." Alex said looking at Lillian directly. "Have you ever wondered why there is no proof of Vampires existence only myths?"
Miller, Lillian, Watson and Catherine all started to think about this very question. It was true at least Mutants were all known by the public, but as for Werewolves, Vampires and Magicians they were all myths and people that believed such things would look insane.
"That's because they are going to silence us." Catherine said realizing the answer. "If the Vampires know that we know there existence they are going to kill us."
"That's true." Alex said. "I am the only Vampire that you guys know off. I have deliberately not told the Vampire Council back in the Vampire Settlement."
"That's because i take you guys as my friends. The Vampires are coming to deal with the Werewolves within this week. I don't know when, but i would inform you guys before hand."
"I don't want you guys to come out that night. When the two groups are going to fight. If The Vampires see you, they wouldn't hesitate to kill you or worse carrying you to the Vampire Settlement as a guinea pig for them to extract blood from until you die." Alex concluded sadly.
Alex then looked at Miller and said. "I know you like to come and save a friend. But as a Vampire i am also obliged by the Vampire Council to fight against the Werewolves, all we are waiting for is a verdict from the King condemning the Werewolves. I don't want you, Miller to come outside that Night. Please it is for your own safety."
"Based on what you have told me." Watson chimed in. "A Werewolf Claw is supposed to be slow down a Vampire's healing process and you also told me that a Werewolf bite can lead to a Vampire's death."
"So how do you think you wouldn't be harmed by the Werewolf. You said Werewolves are stronger than Vampires and in terms of speed are faster. But you guys are more agile. That isn't enough to kill a Werewolf?" Watson asked. "So how do you expect to come back Alive?"
Alex chuckled and then smiled back at Watson like he was a little kid. "Miller." Alex Called Miller's name and looked at him fully concentrated on his face. "You were their LOKI LUPIN, last full moon Night. Am I Correct?"
"Yes, i was." Miller said. "I hope the Vampires are not going to attack Me because i was a LOKI LUPIN."
"I am innocent." Miller concluded with his hands raised a little above his shoulders.
None of them understood why Alex was so calm and why he had full confidence that the Vampires could easily Defeat the Werewolves. Did the Vampires have something that they can use to easily Defeat or possibly Kill a Werewolf?
"That's not even my point." Alex emphasized. "Have you not heard whenever the Werewolf talk about the Vampires attacking them. They are a bit scared for their very lives."
"Yes. That's true." Miller could remember when he first heard them talking about the Vampires with great fear. [Chapter 106 - A Natural Born]
"Vampires are smarter than Werewolves. I would end it here. I can't tell you more than this." Alex said as he stood up from the bench.
As Alex stood up, he felt a hand grabbed him by the wrist. It was Miller Edward. "What is it. Tell us, even if it is just a little. We want to know."
"Fine, have you ever heard of the term: 'The War Of Olds?' " Alex asked.
As for Miller he had heard of it before from Benjamin once. But he had no idea what it meant. As for Catherine, Lillian and Watson they haven't even heard of such phrase.
Alex stood and looked at them and then smiled. "Let me tell you all about why The Werewolves fear us so much. It was because of the War Of Olds..."
