Chapter 289 - The Truth Can Always Be Found

"The whole pack would be after you."

Those words rang inside their brain again and again. Even Miller felt a slight fear on his own. Watson was more scared than ever. Alex was more scared than Miller, but not as scared as Watson, who was shaking, and they could all see that clearly.

'What have I gotten myself into?' Watson thought.

The real reason why Alex was more scared than Miller was because he knew what a Werewolf claw can do to a Vampire. It's like a poison that would slow down their healing process and their bite can sometimes lead to their death. Although, he had an edge than the other Vampires which was due to the ability, he has as a Mutated Vampire, although he doesn't know if that would be of any help when fighting a Vampire or a Werewolf. He hadn't tried it on any of them either.

"So we would have to lie about it," Miller said.

"Yes, please try your best to do so." Jacob said.

Moments later, they were all heading to the School Hall. Miller had one thought in his mind, he hadn't asked Victor about his search. Victor told him he would search for Miller, but he hadn't received feedback and Victor hadn't been seen in the school lately. As for Alexander Reynolds, he had taken a break from teaching according to the school authorities.

On their way to the place, they met someone they didn't want to see. They meet Brandon.

"Hey, Miller." Brandon said, his hands were folded. He wore the school uniform like the others. Behind Brandon were around eleven boys, all of them in the Second Year. It was clear they were all Bullies like him. One of the boys there looked like a hard cigarette taker from his physical appearance.

Brandon's skin still looked dark as usual. Like a man from West Africa. Only this time it looked darker. Like the sun loved him and decided to burn him more and more like the day grew.

"Hi, Brandon." Miller said steering at him in the eyes.

Something was annoying Miller. It was the sound of Watson's heartbeat. Watson was in the middle by his left was Alex and by his right was Miller.

Alex could also hear his heartbeat, but didn't concern himself like Miller did.

"You didn't come to meet me after our little agreement." Brandon said in a soft tone. His hands were still folded as he used his index finger from his left hand to scratch his little to no beard.

"I have been busy." Miller replied. "And i forgot."

"Ooooh!" Brandon and his fellow bullies said sarcastically as they also chuckled.

"I think i would have something that can jog your memory." Brandon said these words in a calm tone. But in an instant, his face changed as he said the next words:

"We are taking him. When you decide to talk with me. We would release him."

Brandon said pointing at the one who was shaking; it was Watson.

One of the boys stretched their hands and was about to get a good grip of Watson.

"Don't you there!" Miller shouted as he clenched his fist so hard. All his life he had been running. Running away from a bully, running away from a fight, but right now he didn't feel like it was necessary. This is due to the new abilities he had. Although he couldn't use them in the open like this except he was in a mutant school. He could still his use his reflexes and a little of his strength, so that he wouldn't look suspicious.

"Oooooh!" Brandon and his friends said sarcastically. Of course they knew Miller was weak. How the hell could he go against twelve of them all at once. One of them there had a different motive in all of this. It was Brandon

'Miller, I know you have super speed as an ability, you are a Mutant. I just want to confirm.' Brandon thought.

Brandon had seen Miller move way too fast when he was fighting in the Second Year Hostel (Chapter 198). He knew clearly that speed wasn't achievable for an average human.

One of the boys who was skinned white who was muscular although not as muscular as Brandon, he had a blonde hair still stretched his hand to grab Watson.

GRIP!

SNAP!

Not using too much speed that would make him look extraordinary. Miller stopped the blonde haired boy's hand before it could reach Watson and in an instant broke his wrist.

"Ahhh!" The boy screamed in pain looking at his broken wrist, which was his right wrist.

Breaking a person's wrist was something done by the Military most times so it wouldn't be absurd for anybody to do that as well.

'Does he also have super strength.' Brandon thought. 'I would love for a great showdown between me and him.'

"He broke my wrist." The blonde haired boy said pointing at Miller with his left hand index finger.

"And I would break the other one. Didn't I send out a warning?!" Miller snapped angrily.

The other bullies looked at Brandon. They wanted him to give the command.

"Take him to the hospital." Brandon said looking at one of the boys who then carried him to the hospital. Now they were only ten left in total.

"Why don't we go to the Martial Arts room and fight?" Brandon said. "We have sometime before the school hall gets filled."

"Do you accept it?" Brandon concluded. "And it's only you we want."

"I accept." Miller said firmly.

'It's time for me to teach these bullies a lesson.' Miller thought.
