It was entirely sandy. Huge dunes of sand could be seen everywhere like waves. It looked like the hot Sahara Desert in modern day Africa. The sun was hot really hot. It was scorching, to be exact. Seeing how hot the sun was reminded Miller of what Xentor had told him earlier. The more sunlight. The more stronger his shadow would become.
The beasts were raining from the sky rapidly. Looking at the beast. Miller could clearly see that they didn't look humanoid like the previous ones he had fought. They resembled a hybrid of a dog, wolf, and bat.
The beasts skin had the colour of the sand itself and it was hard to tell if they were there and it seems like they could easily camouflage. Their main giveaway was the fact that their wings were brown. Their wings were like that of a bat. It stretched from their wrist to their legs. They had a tail. The tall looked to be around six feet long, thesame as their own height.
The tail of the beasts had sharp spikes surrounding it from the start to the finish. As for the beast face. It looked like a dog. But with lot of fur. Even where it would have hard eyes. It has fur. The beasts would able to locate Miller by sound.
Their chest also had furs all around it.
The beasts kept on raining gradually although not at a fast rate anymore. They looked like they were raining one per Ten seconds. At the sandy desert with Miller, were already around two hundred of those beasts.
Xentor was standing close to Miller and the beats had not attacked him yet. The beasts only kept on walking around them in circle.
"Good Luck. Miller." Xentor said as he gave Miller a wink and then the sand underneath his legs opened up and swallowed him and he was no more.
The beasts hadn't attacked, and with their nose. They were sniffing the air, looking for Miller. Miller knew that they would catch him soon.
One of the beasts howled facing Miller. The other beasts now knew where Miller was and they dashed towards him.
(NOTE: THE BESTS ARE THESAME HEIGHT WITH MILLER. THEY AREN'T GIANTS. THEY ARE STILL AROUND SIX FEET TALL LIKE HIM).
[Green Energy]
Running towards his right. Miller made those chains with the green energy. The chains had sharp blade on the end of each of them. They were wrapped to his forearm. It was like the chains was an extension of his arm.
SCHIKK!
The chains hit those at his right side stabbing them and causing their death. Miller was thankful that this beast didn't have regenerative ability. Hitting any part of their body was an instant skill and it seems like they didn't have any healing factor either.
"Ahhhch." The beasts started screaming.
Twisting and turning his body effortless, Miller was able to move the chains hitting not those at his right, but also those at his left, front and back.
WHOOSH!
WHOOSH!
WHOOSH!
Some of the beasts started flapping their wings and hovered above Miller's head a few meters away. The beasts opened their mouth and a huge fire came out of it like that of a dragon.
RARR!
Seven different fires from seven of the beasts that had hovered up in the sky were heading towards Miller at a fast rate. With his super hearing Miller was able to hear the sound of the attack clearly.
[Temporal Stagnation]
A shadow appeared on top of Miller's head. It was his own shadow, that had changed the shape and taken the shape of a rectangular shield. The reason Miller used his shadow was because he was too busy with the fight. He knew leaving the beast for a second would mean a bad thing for him.
As the fire hit the shadows, they started slowing down. Giving Miller enough time to move away. Miller moved to his left and with anger. He jumped and twisted his legs. From his foot, Green daggers from the green energies shot at the beasts stopping some of them before they could reach him.
Standing on his toes, he deliberately deactivated his Green Energy and Activated it again.
[Green Energy]
Miller had now made a huge sword. The sword were two and he was holding two at each hand. The sword were totally made of the green energy.
Miller dashed towards the part of the beasts he was facing. As he got close to them, he swung the long sword and from the long sword. Another small daggers could be seen leaving the sword and they fired towards the alien.
[Temporal Stagnation]
Without looking behind him, Miller knew that some beasts were coming so he direction from behind him due to his super Hearing. He instantly brought his shadow behind him slowing down their attacks.
Miller Immediately turned and did thesame thing. Swinging the sword, little daggers left it and pierced the beasts.
RARR!
From above Miller at thesame time, those Beasts that were still hovering in the sky sent down fire from their mouth.
[Green Energy]
Without wasting much time, Miller turned the green energy into a shield. The shield was even bigger than his own body, stretching around fourteen feet long and wide.
BANG!
The fire hit the shield. What Miller didn't expect is that the shield would still feel the impact. Miller's body was almost crushed to the crowd. He felt pain. The attack of the fire had so much force than he had anticipated.
The other beasts giving Miller no space had dashed towards him at a great speed and were ready to devour him.
Miller started painting. Even if this was so fake. It felt so real.
'It's time for me to use my imagination more deadly.' Miller thought as he removed the shield and was ready for the next onslaught.
