Chapter 250 - Train Alex

Classes for the day had ended. Miller, Watson and Alex were now in their room and had locked the door so that others wouldn't come in.

Miller wanted to train Alex how to use his Mutant Abilities through the help of the System. The reason why they chose their rooms instead was that Alex couldn't go outside and train. This was a human school, not a mutant. Even if they go to the Bushes where tall trees would have covered them. Maybe a Vampire might peep on them and according to Alex that would be disastrous to him. This was why they had chosen their room.

The room was big enough for them to train. Watson went to sit at his bed and was ready to watch. Alex stood at the center of the room and was facing Miller.

Before they started, Miller felt like it was no use hiding the existence of the System from Alex. Besides it was the system that would give him information about how he could teach Alex.

Miller still kept the aspect of Alex being a Minion from everyone, only him and the System knew.

"Based on what the System has told me. You are still evolving." Miler said. "Not all your powers have developed."

"You have a Mutant Ability. The System refers to as Bloody Burst." Miller said.

[BLOODY BURST - An ability that mostly activates when the user is under a state of extreme duress. This is an ability that allows the user to release a burst of blood from their body which has a two in one effect. One, it serves as a weapon and it is strong enough to destroy a huge area. The second is that this ability can be used to heal the user's body.]

[When using the ability, a red line of aura would leave the user's hand or legs. They would be fueled by Blood. They are strong enough to be able to kill a Human instantly.]

[As Alex Justin gets stronger. The more his blood Burst Ability would become more and more stronger to be able to shatter buildings in one go.]

[There is one problem of course. The Bloody Burst is fueled by Blood and thus needs blood to work. If used frequently, Alex Justin desire for blood would increase and thus would be likely to go to the Blood Lust state.]

Miller repeated every single word that the System had said.

"Now it is time for us to start your training." Miller said.

Alex nodded, his expression grim. He knew that learning to control the Bloody Burst ability would not be easy, but he was determined to do whatever it took to master it. If it meant that he could protect his friends and himself, it would be worth it.

"I'm ready," he said, steeling himself for what was to come. "Tell me what I need to do."

Miller gestured for Alex to follow him to a more open area of the room. "First things first, we need to get you into the proper mindset," he said, his voice firm but gentle.

The System started to speak to Miller and Miller would repeat every word of the System accurately as possible to Alex.

"First thing, you need to know is that you have to control your rage. Remember how you Mistakenly killed those three boys that day. It was your rage that activated your bloody burst. You have to learn how to control it."

"You have to learn how to control it without becoming angry."

"First before we start. I need to give you blood. When performing bloody burst, you use blood to power yourself. So it is better i give you some of my blood to start with." Miller said.

'He is eventually a Vampire at the end. He is still going to need human blood to survive.' Watson who was sitting on his bed thought.

Miller knew Alex was addicted to his blood. So what he did was convience Alex to harden his nail and make a cut on Miller's palm. Blood dripped from their and Alex was to open his mouth as the blood fell on his mouth. Miller was ready to perform his Summoning Pact in case anything goes wrong.

[HP: -50]

[HP: 2,270/256,000]

Miller's HP had been deducted because he healed.

Now it was now time for them to start the training. Miller repeated the words accurately as the System said.

The two of them sat in a monk style. This reminded Alex of when he was performing THE CALM.

"Just listen. Since you are a Vampire. This would even be more easier." Miller said.

The both of them were sitting in a monk style while as Alex closed his eyes totally. Miller closed his left eye and opened the right one.

"Listen to your heartbeat and the flow of your blood coursing through your veins."

Alex closed his eyes, focusing on the sound of his heartbeat. It was steady and strong, like a metronome. The blood in his veins pulsed rhythmically, almost like a song. He felt himself becoming more and more relaxed, sinking deeper and deeper into a state of calm.

"Now, imagine yourself in a dark room," Miller's voice said. "There is nothing in the room. You are sitting in the room. You can hear your heartbeat and the flow of your blood."

Alex did as Miller said, picturing himself in a dark, empty room.

'This is just like an advanced method of CALM.' Alex thought.

"Now Imagine your blood were a part of you." Miller said. "Imagine that the blood is not separate from you, but is instead a part of your very being. It is not a fluid that flows through your body, but is rather like a part of your soul. It is not simply something that sustains you, but is instead something that is essential to who you are."

"Can you feel your blood? Can you sense its presence? Focus on that feeling, and allow it to grow. Let it expand and become all-encompassing. Let it fill the room, until there is nothing else but your blood."

Alex could feel every word Miller said and for some reason, he started feeling some kind of strange energy developing inside his body.

"Errh. Miller." Alex said. "I don't feel right."

"Wow." Watson said in surprise.

Miller also couldn't believe his eyes. It worked. Alex was no longer sitting on the floor. He stood up and looking at his forearm was covered in what looked like some kind of red aura.

Alex had just unlocked his Bloodly Burst Ability...
