Chapter 236 - Not An Ordinary Vampire

Both Watson and Alex had now woken up and Miller was looking for the perfect time to spread the news. He wanted Watson to be aware of what Alex had become. He intended to keep the part of Alex has his minion a secret from both of them. But from what the System had told him. He knew it would be best if he told Alex Immediately. So that Alex can hide his abilities from the rest. So that he wouldn't be a guinea pig for the Vampire Leaders.

Both Watson and Alex sat on Watson's bed and were looking at Miller. Miller had told them immediately they woke up that he has an important message for them. Miller was now standing and was looking at them. He couldn't stop fidgeting his fingers.

Alex couldn't help but quip, "Miller, your fingers are moving faster than a hummingbird's wings! What's the big news, or are you just really excited about something?"

Watson let out a chuckle, and Miller finally cracked a smile. The tension in the room broke, and they were able to relax for a moment. But Miller knew he had to get back to the serious conversation at hand.

"I'm sorry for being so fidgety," he said, "but there's something I need to tell you both."

"Do you remember that day we did what you referred to as a Friendly fight in this room?" Miller asked Alex.

Alex was filled with regret as he remembered that fateful day. He hadn't known what he was doing when he drank Miller's blood. He had acted on instinct, without thinking of the consequences. Now, he could only imagine how much he had hurt Miller. Even though Miller had said it was okay, Alex couldn't help but feel guilty. He wished he could take back what he had done, but there was no going back. All he could do now was try to make it up to Miller in whatever way he could.

"Are you okay?" Miller asked, seeing the pained expression on Alex's face.

"Well, I have some news for you," Miller said, his voice growing serious. "The day we sparred, something happened. You see, when you sucked my blood, it did something to your body. You're no longer an ordinary vampire. You've become a mutant vampire."

Alex's heart skipped a beat as he listened to Miller's words. He had suspected something was different about him, but to hear it confirmed was a shock. He wasn't sure what to make of the news. What did it mean for him? What would happen to him now?

"How is that possible?" he asked, his voice trembling. "I've never heard of a mutant vampire. What does that even mean?"

Miller's face was grim. "It means that your abilities are unlike any other vampire's. You have powers that no one else has."

"Your mutation is still in progress. Some of your abilities are still going to appear gradually. You are not done mutating. But currently you have the ability i refer to as Bloody Burst." Miller concluded.

"Wow." Both Watson and Alex replied.

"I would advice that you don't tell anyone about you being a Mutated Vampire. It would be best if we keep it a secret." Miller said.

"I have to admit, this is all pretty overwhelming," Watson said, his brow furrowed. "It's hard to wrap my head around the idea of Alex being a mutant vampire. It's like something out of a movie."

"I'm as curious as you are about what this means for Alex," he continued. "We should probably do some tests to see how strong he's become. If he's getting new abilities, we need to know what they are and how to control them."

Alex nodded in agreement, a nervous energy building inside him.

"What exactly is the Blood Burst. Is it about that red bloodly aura that came out of my hand. the other day." Alex then said the next words with a low and sad tone bending down his head in regret. "The day i mistakenly killed those boys by accident."

"Bloody Burst is an ability where you can shoot out a beam of blood from your hand," Miller said. "It seems to be triggered by intense emotion, particularly anger. I believe the boys you spoke about must have threatened or attacked you in some way."

"What happened was an accident," Watson said, looking at Alex sympathetically. "You didn't mean to do it. You just lost control for a moment, and that's understandable given the circumstances. There's no need to beat yourself up about it."

"But those boys are dead," Alex said, his voice cracking.

Alex took a deep breath and let it out slowly, feeling some of the tension leave his body. He knew Watson and Miller were right. He couldn't change the past, and he needed to focus on the present.

"You're right," he said. "I need to learn how to control my abilities. I don't want to hurt anyone else by accident."

"That's the right attitude," Watson said with a smile. "We'll help you learn to control your powers, and in the meantime, you should try to keep your emotions in check."

"Yeah." Alex replied.

Both of them now turned their gaze to look at Miller. Miller, on the other hand, was asking the System in his brain how they could teach Alex to control his abilities. He was in the midst of the conversation before he could see the weird look in Alex's eyes and how Alex was scratching his throat.

"Alex, what's wrong." Miller said to Alex and thus ending his dialogue with the System.

"I don't feel fine." Alex lied.

"You are not a good lier. Vampires never fall sick. So what is really going on." Watson snapped. He didn't want Alex to keep a secret from them especially when Alex is now a Mutated Vampire and they are the only ones who know and thus, they have become closer.

Alex gulped a bit and stopped scratching his throat. He didn't know how they would react to these words he was about to say. These words would have been okay to a normal Vampire. But these two weren't.

And at last, he finally spoke, because he could see them looking at him with concern.

"I need Blood." Alex said.
