Miller and Alex had just entered a big hall. It was the room where they would be taught Martial Arts.
Miller and Alex stepped into a grand chamber that seemed to embody a harmonious blend of ancient tradition and futuristic innovation. The vast expanse of the room was adorned with intricate patterns of polished stone, reminiscent of martial arts dojos from bygone eras. Soft, ambient lighting bathed the space in a warm and inviting glow, casting gentle shadows that danced upon the walls.
The air was filled with a subtle hint of incense, its delicate fragrance infusing a sense of calm and focus. The room's high ceiling featured an awe-inspiring holographic display, showcasing scenes from legendary martial battles throughout history, as if paying homage to the legacy of combat mastery.
In the center of the hall, a smooth, polished floor stretched out, providing an expansive training area. The floor was thoughtfully adorned with a subtle grid pattern, aiding students in maintaining precise stances and movements. Surrounding the training area were meticulously crafted wooden pillars, each bearing intricate engravings that told stories of courage, discipline, and resilience.
A series of state-of-the-art training equipment was discreetly integrated along the walls, combining traditional practice with cutting-edge technology. Interactive holographic projectors stood ready to create virtual opponents for sparring sessions, ensuring students could refine their techniques against an array of styles and challenges.
The room exuded a serene yet charged atmosphere, inviting students to embark on a journey of self-discovery and physical mastery. As Miller and Alex stood at the threshold of this remarkable space, they couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation and reverence for the knowledge and skills they were about to acquire within its hallowed confines.
Miller and Alex went and joined the group of students who were also waiting. They sat at a bench and were waiting for the teacher. The entire First Year Martial Arts Students currently were around 400 Students. Most of them had the intentions to join the Military after their school, so learning Martial Arts was the best thing they could do to themselves now.
When Miller and Alex sat, their eyes meet with that Emily and sitting close to Emily was Jason Turner. Miller wanted to go and greet her but he couldn't because of Jason. Her roomate; Catherine was also part of the class, but she was sitting far away from Emily. Maybe it was because of her boyfriend. That's what Miller presumed.
Emily waved at both Miller and Alex and gave them a broad smile. Miller smiled back and also admired her beauty.
"Let's go greet her men." Alex said as he stood from his seat, but he was immediately dragged back to his seat by Miller.
"That's Emily's boyfriend; Jason Turner. You really don't want to get close to him." Miller Whispered very little because he knew the Vampire eyes of Alex would be able to hear it very well.
Alex looked at the boy sitting close to Emily. Although the boy had an Athletic build, that boy wouldn't be able to stand against him a Vampire. He didn't understand why Miller wouldn't want him to get close. Although Alex didn't know what race Miller was from. He planned to ask him on a given date, but their was one thing, he knew of and that was the fact that Miller was also strong.
"Dude" Alex said with frustration in his voice. He said it in a form of a whisper. "I am a Vampire. That dude wouldn't stand a chance."
The other words he said. He said them in a boostful manner. It was clear right now he was proud of himself being a Vampire. Miller wasn't even referring to strength or combat skills when he was talking about Alex not get close to Jason. He had another thing in mind.
He looked at Alex with a frowned face and said: "Blood Lust."
Alex Immediately looked away. He could see the anger in Miller's eyes. He knew fully well that Miller wasn't still happy with the fact that he was bitten. He understood what Miller meant by just the single word bloodlust.
"I love you brother." Alex said trying to crack a joke. But Miller wasn't up for it. His face wasn't happy.
Miller although had forgiven him. Whenever the thought that he had been sucked entered his mind. He wouldn't be happy.
Alex gave Miller a friendly tap to the shoulders and said. "I want to go and meet that lady."
Miller smiled a bit, thinking maybe he was joking. But it turns out that he wasn't Alex went to sit down close to Catherine and they started discussing instantly.
Catherine smiled and laughed. Miler found it annoying that Catherine found Alex funny and he didn't.
'What's so funny.' He Thought. 'You may fully many, but you can't full me.'
Miller could smell Catherine and she had the smell of a regular human. Miller has no clue what a Dhampir smell is like. But he believes maybe she has used Magic to subdue her scent.
'I am not even sure. Alex knows what you are.' Miller thought to himself again.
The sound of the doors were heard and another set of Students worked in. They were five in number. There smell was different compared to human and werewolves.
'More Vampires.' Miller thought to himself and then looked at Alex. 'I guess you brought your family to school.'
Miller didn't bother using his Inspect skill. He knew very well through their smell that they were all Vampires. The five who had just arrived. This was an elective course, so Miller presumed that there were others.
The five Students that had all entered. Four were males, and one was a female. One of the Vampires came and sat close to Miller. Miller knew that perhaps this vampire had detected his scent; that's why he had sat close to Miller.
"Hi." The Vampire said as he brought out his hands for a handshake. "My name is Arthur."
Miller decided to use his Inspect Skill on him just to confirm.
