Principal Colonel Benjamin Henderson's office exuded an aura of authority and sophistication. Situated on the top floor of the school's main administrative building, the office was accessible through a set of grand double doors made of polished mahogany. Carved with intricate patterns, the doors opened to reveal a spacious and elegantly furnished room.
The walls were adorned with framed certificates, accolades, and portraits of past school principals, each serving as a testament to the prestigious history of the institution. A large window, fitted with heavy maroon curtains, allowed natural light to cascade into the room, casting warm golden hues upon the polished hardwood floor.
In the center of the office stood a massive oak desk, imposing yet inviting. Its surface was pristine, free of clutter, with only a few meticulously arranged documents and a silver nameplate bearing the title "Principal Colonel Benjamin Henderson." A high-backed leather chair sat behind the desk, reserved for the esteemed principal during official meetings and discussions.
Flanking the desk were two plush leather armchairs, inviting visitors to settle in comfort while engaging in conversations with the principal. The chairs were strategically positioned to encourage open communication and create an atmosphere of ease and respect within the room.
The office was adorned with bookshelves, lined with leather-bound tomes, and a collection of antique artifacts. Globes, maps, and military memorabilia displayed on shelves and mounted on the walls reflected the principal's background in the armed forces, hinting at his storied career before taking on the role of an educational leader.
A large and intricately detailed Persian rug sprawled across the floor beneath the desk, softening footfalls and adding a touch of elegance to the room. The rich colors and intricate patterns of the rug mirrored the principal's attention to detail and dedication to maintaining an environment of excellence within the school.
A fireplace, carefully crafted with ornate carvings, stood against one wall. Though not in use during the warmer months, it added to the room's stately ambiance, providing a sense of warmth and comfort during the colder seasons.
The air in the office was imbued with the scent of aged leather, polished wood, and a hint of lingering cologne, creating an atmosphere of respect and reverence for the principal who occupied this space. Principal Colonel Benjamin Henderson's office was not merely a room; it was a reflection of his character, a place where decisions were made, visions were shared, and the future of the school was carefully sculpted.
Emily and Lillian sat on two seperate seats and were waiting for Watson to arrive. The principal was also present and sitting in a seat facing the two.
*Knock Knock
The sound of someone knocking could be heard. "Come in." The Principal ordered.
The door was opened, and in came Watson with a soldier behind him. "You may leave us alone." The principal said to the Soldier.
The soldier obeyed immediately and left the room. Watson was instructed to have a seat by the Principal and he did.
Lillian was sitting at the middle, Watson by her right and Emily by her left.
The principal decided to break the silence: "I believe what you said about Werewolves. I believe they might be in this school."
"I want you to give me a detailed information of what really happened." He continued.
Watson and Emily didn't speak. They gave Lillian a chance to speak. Since, she was the one who brought up the lie in the first place.
Lillian told the principal that they were attacked by a Werewolf who destroyed the tree.
"So that's all." The principal said. The three nodded their heads indicating a 'Yes'.
"You are free to leave." The principal said as they left.
*******
Moments later, Five Anti-Meta Human Officers entered the principal room. There faces looked serious. One of them was Bradley Stones; who was currently in charge.
"Is there any information you have that can help us." The principal said.
"We have discovered the person." Bradley said using his telepathic abilities. So Principal Colonel Benjamin Henderson could hear his words in his head.
One of the Anti-Meta Human Officers brought out a briefcase. She dropped it on the table in the Principal's office and then inserted a code on it. This was one of the equipments of the Anti-Meta Human Officers. Most of the advanced technologies were hidden from the entire public but where either in the control of the Government or Anti-Meta Human headquarters.
The brief case opened after the code was inserted. When it opened some cold breeze escaped through the brief case. When one looked, they could see human blood in a small tiny glass which was at the center.
The blood itself was really small. But it was sufficient for what the Anti-Meta Human Officers needed it for. The principal was confused; he didn't understand what the blood was for. So he decided to ask. He didn't ask with his mouth, he said it in his mind fully aware that Bradley Stones could hear him.
"What's this blood for?" He asked.
Bradley then decided to use his mouth to reply. "This blood was on the scene, from our research, it seems those three lied. The tree was punched by somebody."
"Do you know who that is." The Principal said.
"We can't figure out how it is possible. The person isn't even a Human nor mutant." Bradley said. "We don't know who the person is."
"So i would advice we keep a close eye on those three students maybe they could lead us to the culprit." Bradley concluded. "What are the Students name?". He asked the principal.
"The three students at the scene when it happened are Emily Pemberton, Lillian Collins and Watson Simmons." The principal replied.
