Those words made Miller fear and the sudden response from the System implied he was in great danger:
[FIVE WRAITHS HAVE NOW LEFT THEIR REALM AND ARE ON EARTH (PRIME)]
[THE USER IS ADVISED TO RUN FOR HIS LIFE]
[REWARD: AN INSTANT LEVEL UP TO 10]
Even if Miller didn't know much about the Wraiths. There was one thing he was sure of. They were dangerous. The System had earlier on given him a few details of the Wraiths. That they were spiritual beings summoned through dark magic by a skilled magicians. They couldn't be seen by the naked eyes, but their voices could be heard. their main intent is to kill.
Honestly speaking, at first Miller found the quest tempting. This reward was far greater than his previous quest where he just had to prevent the Werewolves from attacking humans and that reward was just an Instant Level Up. The new quest he just received is an instant level up to 10 and that can be performed if he just runs away.
Miller couldn't leave the Werewolves and Victor like this unprotected especially when he fully knew that Anti-Meta Human Officers were roaming the school in search of who they find outside during the curfew to kill.
"Who is this."
Another voice said. He looked at where the voice came from, and he saw nothing. Fear took a hold of Miller.
He immediately forgot how strong he was. How could he fight something he cannot even see. Then in an instant, the System shouted at him, annoyed:
"Miller, you have to run away, you are the Avatar of ASTRAR, the Chosen One, The Long Awaited Saviour, your life is more important than anyone in the entire Multiverse."
Miller ignored the System, he couldn't let his friends down like that. Even if him an d
the Werewolves haven't opened their mouth to call each other friends. He was also their LOKI LUPIN and the responsibility to take care of them during this Full Moon Night rested on his shoulders.
"Who the hell are you"
Another voice said. He couldn't see who or what made those voices. The voices also echoed, he looked left and right an he couldn't pinpoint the exact location, even with his Super hearing, it looked like he was weak, really weak.
The voices of THE WRAITHS have an ethereal and haunting, like a ghostly whisper that sends shivers down the spine. It has a raspy quality, as if the sound is coming from a decaying throat. It's a voice that's both otherworldly and unsettling, and it's sure to make any listener's hair stand on end! The voice is also echoing, as if it's coming from multiple sources at once. Overall, it's a very eerie and spine-chilling sound!
Miller Immediately got into a fighting stance and was ready to fight them even if he couldn't see them, he still got in a fighting stance as to overshadow his doubt.
Miller was still scared as his body could be seen shaking seriously. Even if his face looked confident, his shaking body was a give away.
"Miller, you can't fight them. Get out of here now!" The System Commanded.
Both once again because of the people here, he wouldn't leave. Victor was on the floor almost unconscious and extremely weak. The entire wolf pack were chained on the floor. He was the only one they could depend on so why would he leave now.
"Ha Ha Ha!"
So many laughs sounds were heard. Miller turned to his left and right every where and how he could simultaneously and so fast. His heartbeat was now rising, He was really scared and now it was showing on his face, he started sweating.
"Ha Ha Ha!"
The laughs continued and this time, it sounded like the laugh was that of A Million people.
Miller Immediately fell on the floor with his face down, he used the palms of his hands to cover both his ears. But that was a waste of time because his super hearing could still pick up the noises. It was like his super hearing was working against him. He did all he could to block the sound but he couldn't.
(NOTE: THE WRAITHS ARE SPIRITS, THE SOUND OF THE FIVE OF THEM LAUGHING WAS HEARD ONLY BY MILLER..THEY DID IT THAT WAY WITH THEIR POWERS).
Miller tried his best to block it, but it was a waste of time.
"You wouldn't be able to block the sound. You are messing with a WRAITH. Just run Miller, it's of no use. You are not yet powerful enough." The system warned him.
Miller didn't listen to the System, he couldn't let something as bad as this happen to the wolf pack and Victor; The Hostel Warden / Wizard.
"You are a weak Throsk'Bok"
"A disagree to those beings"
"You are not useless."
"I thought a Throsk'Bok would have given us a challenge Because of how powerful they were."
More voices were heard; Miller Couldn't raise his head in shame. But he finally did so, It was clear that these beings knew what he was; he was a Throsk'Bok.
"Throsk'Bok are strong, but what the hell are you?"
Another voice said.
"If he isn't strong enough, it would be good to use him as our vessel for the night."
Another voice said.
Within a mili-second, Miller started to feel a huge gust of wind hitting his body.
Message popped at his retina:
[THE WRAITHS WANTS TO POSSESS THE USER'S BODY]
[ACCESS DENIED]
"He is more powerful than i would have thought."
A voice said.
Miller stood up immediately, he noticed that he couldn't be possessed by these beings. It gave him some kind of courage.
"Go back to where you came from," Miller said as he got into a fighting stance.
"Ha Ha Ha!"
They all laughed at what he said.
"Let's make a deal. We would go back to our Realm on one condition." They said in unison
"What's the condition." Miller asked.
SNAP!
Three Werewolves chains instantly broke like it was made of paper. Three out of the five Invisible WRAITHS had gone to possess the body of another. The three Werewolves that were possessed were Sophie, Alexander and Benjamin.
"You have to beat us until we decide to leave these bodies" They said. They had currently possessed the bodies.
Immediately, The System warned Miller:
"Miller, just run right now, They have possessed those Werewolves and only you can't even fight one of them, talk less of three and besides, they are now possessed by the WRAITHS and thus they are more stronger."
"MILLER, RUN FOR YOUR SAFETY." The system warned.
