Chapter 172 - Full Moon Night: I've Called My Staff

[ALL STAT POINTS HAVE BEEN RETURNED TO THEIR ORIGINAL VALUES]

[HP: 27000/32000]

[STRENGTH: 160,000]

[AGILITY: 224,000]

[STAMINA: 320,000]

[SPEED: 128,400]

[DURABILITY: 128,000]

After Miller punched Benjamin, he returned all his stats back to normal. Miller's HP was coming back to normal as his entire injuries were now almost gone.

A big sigh left his mouth out of relief. The only noise that could be heard was the sound of the Werewolves growling. He had at least completed his task. The Werewolves were now all chained.

[HP: 32000/32000]

Miller had now completely healed. He felt more energized that ever.

"You are stronger than i would have expected" Victor said.

Miller merely nodded in response, his eyes filled with determination and a newfound sense of responsibility.

Suddenly, the air was charged with tension as the door to the room swung open, revealing the magical staff hovering in the doorway. The staff had returned, and with it came a feeling of uncertainty. It was a powerful artifact, and they couldn't underestimate its potential.

"It's magic" Victor told Miller because he could see the boy's confused look. "I was the one who called my staff with magic."

"Can you teach me magic?" Miller asked.

"Ha Ha Ha"

Victor laughed. That laugh made Miller feel bad.

"No offence, but i am not sure you would even be eligible" Victor said sarcastically.

Miller didn't bother to ask Victor more questions. With all the Werewolves handcuffed Miller decided to communicate with the System.

"Hello System" Miller said inside his head as he sat down on the floor. He was facing all the Werewolves and Victor was also standing close to him. The two of them had the job to look at the Werewolves through out this night.

Although, the work is only Miller's responsibility as the LOKI LUPIN of the Werewolf pack. He can't do it alone. That's why Victor helped him. On a normal day, a Park is supposed to have two to five LOKI LUPIN, but there are no Vampires or any supernatural creatures in School. So there hope is only on Miller.

"Hello Miller." The System replied.

"Why haven't I gotten the quest reward yet?" Miller inquired with a hint of impatience in his voice.

The System responded calmly, "The reason is because the werewolves you faced were still in their ferocious state during the full moon night. The quest explicitly requires that you prevent them from causing harm to any human during this time. Once the full moon night is over, and you've successfully protected humans from harm, you will receive your well-deserved reward."

The System emphasized, "It's crucial to understand that, for the purpose of this quest, humans do not include other werewolves or mutants. Your primary responsibility is to safeguard regular humans from any potential danger posed by these ferocious werewolves during the full moon night."

Miller now finally understood what the System meant.

"How powerful would i become if i keep leveling up?" Miller asked the System.

"I can't say Miller," the System replied. "But just know this. You would be more powerful than you can ever dream or imagine. Besides you are the Avatar of ASTRAR."

Miller was more confused than ever, the System has mentioned to him that he was the Avatar of ASTRAR several times and he doesn't know what it meant.

"System, please i want to know the truth. Who or what is ASTRAR?" Miller asked.

The system didn't answer him for sometime and it finally spoke. "I can't say much now because if you know this right now. It would affect your goals. You just have to get stronger."

Miller got angry and said inside his head to the System: "You are always keeping me blank...."

Miller's words were cut short by the System's sudden reply: "Just as the way, you keep your best friend; Watson blank." The System snapped.

"Who the hell are you to tell me what and who i can give an information. You are only just some kind of Alien consciousness that's stuck in my head." Miller said with anger.

The System didn't reply him. The System which didn't have emotions for once now felt like it was Sad. But it didn't say anything.

Miller's head was now quiet, he had said what he wanted to Tell the System all along. The System was nothing more than an alien consciousness that's stuck in his head. The System can't leave and if it leaves, it doesn't know where to go to. It doesn't even remember it's creator.

"I am sorry for being so rude" Miller apologized.

"Apology accepted" The System said.

At this very moment, the System noticed something. All its years of existence, since it has been waiting for the Chosen one; MILLER EDWARD, it had never felt sad before. But for some unknown reason, it felt sad right now and was really happy because Miller apologized. It was like since it got attached to Miller's brain. It also downloaded the Human emotions such as: Anger, Happiness, Sadness, Disgust and even a little bit of Fear.

Before Miller could close his eyes, he started to hear footsteps of many people heading their direction. They were all running.

"Someone or some group of people are heading in our direction." Miller said to Victor.

Victor couldn't hear because he didn't have superhuman hearing.

"Miller, now is the perfect opportunity to utilize your X-ray Sub-skill," the System suggested. "This skill allows you to see through walls and get a glimpse of who or what is approaching us. It's one of your powerful abilities as the Avatar of ASTRAR."

X-ray Sub-skill of INSIGHT Skill. This was a skill Miller had not used before. He got the Skill Immediately he landed on Earth.

Intrigued by the prospect of testing this sub skill, Miller closed his eyes and focused on activating it. Within seconds, he felt a surge of energy flowing through him, and his vision seemed to change. The walls around him became translucent, revealing the figures of several people rushing towards them.

[X-RAY]

"There are multiple individuals coming our way," Miller reported, his eyes still closed as he observed their movements. "They seem to be in a hurry."

Victor didn't understand how Miller could see through the walls. But he knew that if he wanted to ask, he would have to ask later.

"Who are they." He asked Miller.

"They are not that clear. But they are getting closer". Miller said.

As the footsteps grew nearer, Miller could now discern the approaching figures clearly. It was the Anti-Meta Human Officers, led by Bradley Stone. They appeared concerned, their expressions tense as they arrived at the scene.

And with urgency, Miller said to Victor with fear. "It's the Anti-Meta Humans and they are heading to this room."
