Miller stood outside the closed doors of the basketball court, his hands pressed firmly against his temples. The voice echoed within his mind, its presence both unsettling and intriguing. His confusion mounted as he sought answers from the enigmatic voice that seemed to know him intimately.
"Who are you?" Miller's voice was laced with a mixture of curiosity and frustration. He desperately wanted to make sense of the mysterious entity that had invaded his thoughts.
"I am the System," the voice replied, its tone filled with an ethereal quality. "I am here to guide you, to assist you in reclaiming your lost memories."
Miller's eyebrows furrowed as he processed the information. The notion of a System existing within his mind seemed far-fetched, yet the voice's persistent presence hinted at a deeper truth.
"What happened to me? Why have I lost my memories?" Miller asked, his voice tinged with a mixture of anxiety and hope.
"You were subjected to a memory alteration spell," the System explained. "Someone deliberately erased your past, leaving you in this state of confusion."
Miller's mind raced as he tried to grasp the magnitude of what had been done to him. The realization that someone had purposefully taken away his memories stirred a whirlwind of emotions within him—anger, betrayal, and a burning desire to uncover the truth.
"Can you help me get my memories back?" Miller inquired, his voice filled with a glimmer of anticipation.
"Yes, I can," the System responded. "But it won't be an easy task. Reclaiming your memories requires you to undertake a series of challenges and quests. Each step will lead you closer to unlocking the secrets of your past."
Miller took a deep breath, his determination renewed. Despite the uncertainty that lay ahead, he felt a newfound sense of purpose. If there was a way to retrieve his memories, he was willing to face any obstacle that stood in his path.
"I'm ready," Miller declared, his voice steady with resolve. "Lead the way, System. Together, we'll piece together the fragments of my shattered past and uncover the truth behind this memory alteration."
As he spoke those words, a surge of energy coursed through Miller's veins, intertwining his fate with the enigmatic System. Watson, who had followed Miller outside, watched in awe as his friend made this resolute declaration.
"We'll find the answers, Miller," Watson said, his voice filled with unwavering support. "I'll be by your side, just like always. Together, we'll overcome any challenges that come our way."
Miller turned to face Watson, a spark of gratitude in his eyes. The bond of their friendship remained unbreakable, even in the face of this extraordinary circumstance. With Watson's unwavering support and the guidance of the System, Miller felt a flicker of hope illuminating his path.
"But can i ask you something, Miller?" Watson asked.
"Go ahead" Miller said.
"What do you mean by System?" Watson asked.
Miller then went to describe the voice in his head and how the voice told him that it was a System inside his brain. THIS was the first time Watson had heard of such kind of thing in existence. Watson knew that Humanity had grown, but he had no clue if it was possible that Humanity made this so called System that's inside Miller's head.
Watson asked Miller if he could remember how he got the System. Miller send he couldn't remember anything. Watson didn't bother pushing further, he was just more concerned about how he could get his best friend's memory back intact.
Miller went on further to explain what the voice, that proclaimed to be a System had said that someone had done a memory alteration spell on him. That's why he can't remember anything.
This brought Watson to reality, his belief in the Supernatural was now getting stronger. Based on what Miller had just told him and how Miller had just forgotten everything about his past. It was a clear probability that Magic and other Supernatural things might exist beyond the curtains of the general public.
As they returned to the basketball court, ready to face the unknown, Miller couldn't help but wonder what awaited him on this journey. The voice of the System continued to resonate within his mind, its presence a constant reminder of the formidable quest that lay ahead.
The court buzzed with the energy of the basketball game, but Miller's focus had shifted. He was now embarking on a different kind of game—a quest to reclaim his identity. As he took his seat beside Watson, he silently vowed to himself that he would unravel the truth, even if it meant confronting the darkest corners of his past.
The echoes of the System's voice whispered in Miller's mind, intertwining with the cheers and applause of the crowd. The path to reclaiming his memories would be arduous, filled with unexpected twists and turns. Yet, with the unwavering support of his friend and the enigmatic System, Miller was determined to emerge from the shadows and rediscover the fragments of his shattered memories.
Within Seconds, some green words from the System flickered at his retina:
