Chapter 124 - The WereWolf Unleashed

Jacob Williams stood before Miller, emanating an air of unwavering confidence despite being labeled the weakest among his werewolf counterparts. His physical appearance, though human at the moment, held an aura of latent power that sent shivers down Miller's spine.

Towering over Miller, Jacob's height reached an impressive six feet and three inches, giving him an imposing presence. His well-built physique spoke of countless hours spent honing his body to perfection. Every sinew and muscle on his frame seemed sculpted with purpose, exuding a raw strength that belied his purported weakness.

Jacob's hair was a striking contrast to his pale complexion. Cascading in wild waves around his head, it bore the color of midnight, each strand possessing an unruly nature as if defying any attempt to tame it. With every movement, his hair swayed like dark tendrils, framing his face in an enigmatic manner.

Speaking of his face, Jacob possessed sharp features that accentuated his intensity. His piercing eyes, a deep shade of emerald green, seemed to hold a hidden fire, filled with both determination and a touch of menace. They were framed by strong, defined eyebrows that furrowed with purpose, exuding a commanding presence. A well-defined jawline highlighted his resolute nature, while a straight, regal nose added a touch of aristocracy to his countenance.

Jacob's skin, pale and flawless, gave off an ethereal glow under the dim light. It served as a stark contrast to his dark hair, enhancing his captivating allure. There was an air of mystery that surrounded him, as if his appearance held only a fraction of the power he possessed, a hint of the untamed beast lurking beneath the surface.

As Jacob Williams stood there, his presence demanded attention, radiating an aura of dominance despite being the weakest of his kind. His physicality and striking features added to the tension in the tunnel, leaving Miller apprehensive about the impending confrontation.

"Get back inside!" Jacob Williams shouted at Miller as he started moving toward him.

Miller wanted to not perform the quest, but he remembered what the System had told him earlier that he needs to perform quest to get more and more stronger. Getting stronger was the only way he could save the ones he loved from these ferocious Werewolves.

"I want to do it" Miller said to the System. "Can you give me an idea how I can use my INSTINCTIVE COMBAT SKILL LEVEL 2 very well to defeat him?"

"First things first, I would advice you to always check your HP when hit so that you know when you are in danger. Immediately your HP reaches zero, you are going to faint and we both know that immediately you faint, that would be the end of it. You are going to be captured again." The System said.

Miller complied and focused on his HP, which consistently displayed in the top right part of his retina, it was small but he was able to see the numbers clearly. Which was a good thing, so that he could know when to attack and when not to.

The System continued to provide guidance to Miller, delving into the specifics of utilizing his Instinctive Combat Skill Level 2 to the fullest.

"Your Instinctive Combat Skill Level 2 is a valuable asset, Miller," the System began. "It enhances your natural combat instincts and reflexes, allowing you to react swiftly and effectively in battle. To make the most of this skill, you need to tap into your instincts and trust your body's reactions."

"Focus on reading Jacob's movements, anticipate his strikes, and let your instincts guide your responses," the System advised. "Your heightened reflexes and agility will enable you to dodge and evade his attacks with precision."

"Additionally, your Instinctive Combat Skill Level 2 grants you a heightened sense of perception. Utilize this to analyze Jacob's weak points and vulnerabilities," the System continued. "Look for openings in his defense, observe any patterns in his fighting style, and exploit those weaknesses to your advantage."

"Remember, Miller, timing is crucial. Use your instincts to determine the perfect moment to strike back," the System emphasized. "Combine your instinctive reactions with your enhanced physical attributes, such as strength and agility, to deliver powerful and precise counterattacks."

"Lastly, do not underestimate the power of strategy. While your instincts play a vital role, strategic thinking can give you an edge in battle," the System concluded. "Consider the environment, leverage any available resources, and adapt your fighting style accordingly."

As Miller absorbed the System's instructions, he felt a surge of determination coursing through his veins. He knew that his Instinctive Combat Skill Level 2, combined with his other attributes, could provide him with an advantage against Jacob Williams.

With renewed confidence and a clear plan in mind, Miller steeled himself for the imminent clash, ready to unleash his instinctive combat skills to their fullest potential.

"What the hell is wrong with you" Jacob Williams was now in front of Miller.

Jacob Williams out of anger sent out his fist to punch Miller, but Miller bent down and dodged it successfully and then Miller with his super speed gave him a punch to the stomach.

BANG!

Jacob Williams jolted backwards a few inches from Where Miller's hand could reach him again. He stood firmly, his entire body upright. He looked at Miller with a smile and said:

"Let's do this, it's been a long time since I fought a Human". Jacob Williams said.

As the tension reached its peak, an eerie transformation unfolded before Miller's eyes. In a chilling display of otherworldly power, Jacob Williams underwent a startling metamorphosis.

The atmosphere crackled with energy as Jacob's fingers elongated and twisted, morphing into razor-sharp claws that gleamed menacingly in the dim light. The claws possessed a malevolent aura, their dark hue mirroring the depths of Jacob's inner ferocity. They appeared unyielding, capable of rending flesh with ease.

Simultaneously, thick fur began sprouting from Jacob's back, forming a dark, bristling coat that accentuated his imposing stature. The glistening strands of fur seemed to radiate an aura of primal power, enhancing his already formidable presence.

Every muscle in Jacob's body seemed to bulge with newfound strength, their contours accentuated, as if chiseled from stone. The veins beneath his skin pulsed with an otherworldly energy, emphasizing his physical might. His figure exuded an air of unbridled power, surpassing anything Miller had ever witnessed.

As the transformation continued, Jacob's mouth underwent a terrifying change. Sharp, gleaming fangs erupted from his gums, protruding menacingly. Each tooth glinted with a deadly sheen, a testament to the lethal force they possessed. His visage now bore the unmistakable marks of a fearsome predator, a creature fueled by untamed instincts.

The final remnants of Jacob's humanity gave way to his true nature. In a climactic shift, he transitioned into his original form—a formidable werewolf. His eyes burned with a feral intensity, mirroring the untamed spirit that resided within him.

With a primal roar that echoed through the tunnel, Jacob launched himself toward Miller with explosive speed. His powerful limbs propelled him forward, his body now supported by four agile legs. The ferocious combination of speed, strength, and instinct propelled him closer to his prey, hungering for the taste of victory.

In that heart-stopping moment, Miller found himself facing an unstoppable force, a creature of the night driven by a thirst for blood. The odds stacked against him seemed insurmountable as Jacob, now fully transformed, hurtled toward him with unyielding determination.

The outcome of this harrowing encounter hung in the balance, teetering on the precipice of uncertainty. Would Miller's instinctive combat skills be enough to overcome the savage might of the werewolf?
