CBS: TAJ, VOLUME ONE(THE STORY BEGINS....), CHAPTER 100(SCHOOL GARDEN).
Immediately Emily said those words to Miller, his heart skipped a beat. He felt a rush of emotions flooding through him—excitement, nervousness, and a hint of shyness. He was taken aback by Emily's sudden approach, as he had never expected her to initiate a conversation with him. He mustered up the courage to respond, his voice a little shaky.
"Hey, Emily," Miller replied, trying to sound as calm as possible. "I... uh... actually, I was just about to go to the library with my friend, Watson."
Emily smiled warmly at Miller, her eyes shining with curiosity. "Oh, the library sounds like a good plan. Mind if I tag along? I could use some book recommendations."
Miller's heart leaped with joy at her suggestion. He quickly glanced at Watson, who gave him an encouraging nod. Gathering his composure, Miller replied with a newfound confidence, "Sure, Emily. We'd love to have you join us."
With Emily now walking beside them, Miller found himself grappling with his own thoughts. He wanted to make a good impression and engage in meaningful conversation with Emily, but his shyness threatened to hold him back. As they made their way to the library, Miller gathered his thoughts and decided to seize the opportunity.
"So, Emily," Miller began, his voice a bit more steady. "What kind of books are you interested in? Maybe I can recommend something."
Emily's eyes lit up with enthusiasm. "I'm open to anything, really. Lately, I've been into fantasy novels and adventure stories. Do you have any favorites?"
A warm smile graced Miller's face. Fantasy was his favorite genre too, and he felt an immediate connection with Emily over their shared interest. "I love fantasy too! Have you ever read 'The Chronicles of Eldoria'? It's an incredible series with captivating world-building and unforgettable characters."
Emily's eyes widened with intrigue. "No, I haven't read that one yet, but it sounds amazing. I'll definitely check it out."
As they arrived at the library, Miller noticed a few students scattered throughout, each engrossed in their own books or studying diligently. He led Emily and Watson to a secluded corner, where they could have a bit of privacy.
With the books surrounding them, Miller felt a newfound confidence bubbling within. He wanted to know more about Emily and share his own experiences. Taking a deep breath, he found the strength to inquire, "So, Emily, I've noticed you around school, and... well... I've always admired your intelligence and kindness. You're an amazing person."
Emily blushed, her cheeks turning a soft shade of pink. "Thank you, Miller. That means a lot to me. I've noticed you too, and I've always thought you were incredibly talented and brave. The way you stood up against those bullies was impressive."
"What bullies?" Miller asked in shock. He thought his fight with the Twenty-three bullies was something only Watson had seen or had Emily got the information from her boyfriend; Jason Turner.
Because clearly, Jason and the others were not in school. Which meant, they might likely be in the school clinic receiving treatment. Watson on the other hand looked at Her Surprised.
"I know what happened yesterday" Emily said. "Let's go to a private place to talk. Just you and me".
Miller did not want to follow her, but he felt like this girl knew more than she was trying to tell.
"What should i do. if she knows my Secret?" Miller asked the System.
"I honestly don't know, it's up to you. It's your choice" The System replied.
Miller gave a big sigh and said: "Where do you want us to talk".
"I know a place" Emily said with a Smile as she left the library and Miller followed her. Watson did not follow Because it was clear, she wanted to be alone with Miller.
Watson had so many thoughts running through his head that maybe this girl might have found out that Miller is a Mutant and wants to expose him to the government. Watson was afraid of losing his best friend.
So he decided to follow them subtly when they were some distance away. Although he thought they did not notice his movement. There was one person who did and that was Miller with his super hearing. Although, Miller acted like it was nothing.
Moving to and fro, they had finally left the school premises, stepping into the hidden oasis nestled within the school garden's confinement. As they ventured further, the world around them transformed into a breathtaking sight—a place of enchantment known as the school garden.
Their footsteps resonated on the winding stone pathway that meandered through this picturesque haven. The garden stretched out before them, its vastness captivating their senses. The emerald green carpet of meticulously manicured grass sprawled beneath their feet, inviting them to step into nature's embrace. Each blade of grass glistened with dew, reflecting the golden sunlight that filtered through the canopy of towering trees.
The air was perfumed with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, their vibrant colors painting a kaleidoscope of beauty amidst the verdant landscape. Roses adorned the garden with their delicate petals, their fragrance wafting through the gentle breeze, while daffodils danced in the sunlight, their golden heads swaying in rhythm with nature's symphony.
Tall, majestic trees stood like ancient sentinels, their branches reaching towards the heavens, providing shelter and shade to those seeking solace beneath their outstretched limbs. The leaves rustled softly in the breeze, creating a soothing melody that whispered secrets of the garden's hidden wonders.
Birds of various hues flitted from branch to branch, their melodious songs filling the air with joy and harmony. The chirping of sparrows and the trilling of finches formed a natural symphony that echoed throughout the garden, as if celebrating the beauty of this hidden sanctuary.
Stone benches, weathered by time, offered a tranquil respite for those seeking solace amidst the serenity. Moss clung to their surfaces, adding an ethereal touch to the aged stone. It was a place where one could sit and lose themselves in the pages of a book or simply bask in the tranquility of their surroundings.
As Miller, Emily, and Watson strolled through the garden, they discovered hidden nooks and crannies, each revealing a new facet of its splendor. A small pond shimmered with iridescent hues, its surface adorned with lily pads that held delicate blossoms. The gentle quacking of ducks broke the stillness, as they glided gracefully across the water, leaving ripples in their wake.
Butterflies fluttered playfully from flower to flower, their delicate wings carrying them on an elegant dance through the garden's vibrant tapestry. Bees buzzed with purpose, collecting nectar from blossoms, adding their own touch of vitality to this thriving ecosystem.
The school garden was more than just a collection of plants and trees; it was a sanctuary for the weary souls seeking solace and inspiration. It offered a respite from the bustling halls of academia, a space where one could reconnect with the rhythms of nature and find solace in its gentle embrace.
As they explored the garden, Miller and Emily felt a profound sense of tranquility washing over them. Surrounded by nature's beauty, they were reminded of the limitless possibilities that awaited them beyond the confines of their ordinary lives.
In the school garden, time seemed to stand still, as if it were a realm untouched by the pressures and demands of the outside world. It was a place where dreams took flight, where friendships deepened, and where the whispers of nature held the promise of adventure and self-discovery.
They had finally stopped at a certain point. No one was there. The Entire place was quiet. Miller used his super Hearing, the only heartbeats he could hear was his, Emily's and Watson (who was following them from afar; Emily has no idea that Watson was following them. But due to Miller's super hearing, he could hear Watson's footsteps loudly).
"I want to ask you something" Emily said breaking the silence.
As soon as she uttered those words, his heart rate quickened.
"What is it?" Miller asked.
"I want you to tell me how i can become a Mutant like you?" Emily said.
