The class had ended. Miller was still curious that a Werewolf really existed on earth. If a Werewolf really existed. Then there would be no doubt that Vampires would also exist.
Students were now leaving the classroom gradually. Sophie Smith was sitting at a chair close to the door. Eyes once again met Miller's. Throughout the class her eyes and Miller's eyes have Meet on several occasions.
"Hey, you there, What's your name" Sophie said pointing at a Student.
The remaining student in the classroom looked at the direction of where she pointed. On a normal day, they would all have laughed when they set their eyes on Miller.
This was the First time most of them noticed something. Miller had grown taller, more muscular and even more handsome. Even Miller's crush; Emily also just noticed this too.
"Me....Me" Miller repeated his words almost stuttering. On a normal day, everyone would be suspicious if they found out someone was looking at them too much like they were doing something unusual.
"Does she know what I am?" Miller asked the System before he started moving to her direction.
"i have no idea" The System replied.
Miller was now in front of her.
"Follow me to my office now, we need to talk" Sophie said as she stood up and headed to her office.
Miller didn't want to disobey his teacher or appear suspicious, so he obeyed her and followed her. The other students were confused as to why Miller who was a nerd got a quick attention from their new teacher.
Miller was following her with his heart pounding with apprehension. As he steps into the room(her office), the atmosphere turns frosty, and his teacher's cold tone sends shivers down his spine.
"I know you're not human," she says, her voice laced with an undeniable certainty.
Miller's eyes widen in surprise. How could she possibly know? He thought he had hidden his true nature so well. But then again, she was a werewolf, with heightened senses and a supernatural ability to detect the differences in others.
The revelation that his teacher, the one who was supposed to guide and educate him, was a werewolf, sent a chill through his veins. He had always believed that the existence of mythical creatures was confined to stories and legends. Now, faced with the reality, he couldn't deny the lurking danger that surrounded him.
"Who are you?" Miller manages to utter, his voice laced with a mixture of fear and curiosity.
"I am Sophie Smith, a werewolf and a member of a powerful pack," she responds, her eyes narrowing with a hint of caution.
Miller's mind races, trying to grasp the implications of this revelation. A pack meant that his teacher wasn't alone, and if she had her eyes on him, it meant that others might be watching too. His once mundane school life had spiraled into a complex web of supernatural secrets and hidden dangers.
With a warning in her voice, Sophie continues, "If you do anything that threatens our existence, my pack will be after you. I advise you to tread carefully, young man."
The weight of her words settles heavily on Miller's shoulders as he realizes the magnitude of the situation. He nods silently, understanding that the stakes have been raised, and the world he once knew had shifted irrevocably.
Upon leaving her office, Miller's mind is fraught with conflicting emotions. He wants to confide in his friend Watson, but the weight of the burden is too great. He fears that by involving Watson, he might drag his innocent friend into a world of peril and chaos.
When Miller steps out of the school building, he finds Watson waiting for him, concern etched on his face. Before Watson can inquire about the meeting with the teacher, Miller quickly formulates a lie to protect his friend from the escalating dangers.
"It was nothing, just some misunderstanding," Miller reassures him, his voice masking the tumultuous thoughts swirling within him.
Watson, though puzzled, accepts his friend's explanation. He trusts Miller implicitly, and their bond is unbreakable. Together, they head toward their hostel, the weight of the day's revelations lingering in the air.
However, their journey is abruptly interrupted by a group of muscular boys, surrounding them like a pack of hungry wolves. These boys were human. These boys, first-years like them, have targeted them for their own gain. It was not unusual for a First Year Student to bully another First Year.
"Give us your money," one of the boys demands, his voice dripping with arrogance.
No matter how sharp Watson's mind was, physical weakness plagued him relentlessly. Every day, he and Miller endured the torment of being bullied, their spirits crushed by the hands of anyone who sought to exert their dominance.
Miller's gaze falls upon his fallen friend, sprawled on the ground from a single, devastating blow. Anguish fills his heart, fueling an overwhelming desire to protect and avenge. His fists clench tightly, knuckles turning white with the intensity of his emotions. Every fiber of his being yearns to confront their oppressors, to defy the odds stacked against them.
"You have clenched your fist, what are you waiting for?" One of them mocked Miller.
Miller remained undeterred, unperturbed by their jeers. It is not fear that courses through his veins but a steadfast resolve, an unshakable determination to rise above the relentless torment.
In the depths of his soul, Miller knows that the SYSTEM, the enigmatic companion that has guided him through most challenge, will offer him a lifeline—a quest that will grant him the strength and purpose he so desperately seeks.
He waits, poised for the System's intervention, his eyes fixed on the green words flickering at his retina, an ethereal beacon of hope amidst the darkness that surrounds them:

These words brought a broad smile on Miller's face.
