Chapter 73 - A Contest

The battleground was set, an arena pulsating with anticipation. Ayalaren, the formidable female Xorlarian warrior, and Ivo'Zen, the Strongest Amargan Warrior wielding the powerful Crystal Blade of Annihilation, stood at opposite ends, ready to engage in an epic battle that would test their skills, strength, and endurance.

The battle ground was on the home of the Amargans, Planet Citarada. The battle ground was covered by People; humans, Amargans and those big green aliens alike, a large square-like space was designated at the center for the two representatives who were about to engage in combat.

They were all ready to watch the match, no one was to intervene no matter what happened.

The two contestants weapons gleamed with otherworldly energy, each harboring immense power and the potential for devastation. Ayalaren brandished her own formidable weapon, a sleek and elegant staff adorned with ancient glyphs that hummed with a vibrant red aura. The air crackled with anticipation as the clash of these mighty weapons seemed imminent.

The battle commenced, and the two warriors unleashed a flurry of strikes, parries, and evasive maneuvers. Their movements were a dance of power and grace, their combat skills a testament to their years of training and dedication. Each blow landed with thunderous impact, creating shockwaves that reverberated through the battleground.

Ivo'Zen swung his Crystal Blade with precision, its crimson glow leaving trails of energy in its wake. The blade sliced through the air, creating a symphony of power as it clashed against Ayalaren's staff. The ground beneath them shook with each collision, the force of their attacks threatening to rend the very fabric of reality.

For some minutes, the battle raged on, neither warrior relenting in their ferocity. Ayalaren's mastery of her staff was evident as she launched a barrage of strikes, utilizing her agility and speed to keep Ivo'Zen on the defensive. She weaved a web of attacks, exploiting his weaknesses and delivering blow after blow.

Despite his injuries, Ivo'Zen refused to yield. The power of the Crystal Blade surged through him, fueling his determination and granting him the strength to endure. With each strike, he channeled the energy of the blade, pushing himself to his limits.

As the battle reached its climax, Ayalaren saw an opportunity to land a final, decisive blow. She executed a lightning-fast series of strikes, aiming to incapacitate Ivo'Zen and claim victory. But in the heat of the moment, a tiny misstep occurred—a fleeting moment of vulnerability.

Ivo'Zen seized this moment with unwavering resolve. With a swift and calculated maneuver, he deflected Ayalaren's attack, redirecting her momentum against her. In a split second, the Crystal Blade found its mark, piercing through her defenses and striking true.

Ayalaren's eyes widened in shock and disbelief as the blade tore through her, the red aura around her dissipating into thin air. Time seemed to stand still as she fell to the ground, defeated but still defiant. Blood stained the arena, a stark reminder of the intense battle that had unfolded.

Ivo'Zen stood over her, his breathing heavy, and a mixture of exhaustion and triumph etched upon his face. He had emerged victorious, but the cost had been great. The injuries he had sustained throughout the battle were evident, his body battered and bruised.

As the crowd erupted into cheers and applause, the significance of the moment hung heavy in the air. Ayalaren, a fierce and worthy adversary, had fallen at the hands of Ivo'Zen. It was a testament to his skill, resilience, and the power of the Crystal Blade of Annihilation.

But victory came at a steep price. Ivo'Zen's body trembled with exertion as he knelt beside Ayalaren, his voice filled with a mix of admiration and regret.

"You fought valiantly," he whispered, his words carrying a tinge of sorrow. "May your spirit find peace in the realm of the fallen."

And with that, Ivo'Zen stood, leaving behind the fallen warrior as he prepared to face the challenges that lay ahead. The battle was won, but the consequences of the clash lingered, reminding him of the sacrifices made in the pursuit of victory.

Ivo'Zen was very happy that the Amargans did not lose the right to control their planet Because of A Silly Contest, but he was also sad that he had to take the life of Ayalaren, his emotion was in between.

The Battle ground was now entirely covered with many beings; Anti-Meta Human travellers soldiers were now there, the green big aliens and also The Amargans.

The green Big aliens wanted to take Ayalaren out of the planet through their black space ship Because of medical attention; that is if, she did not die before they even reach the place for her purposed treatment.

(NOTE: THE REAL REASON WHY AYALAREN HAD NOT DIED IMMEDIATELY FROM THE STAB WAS BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT XORLARIANS HAD NATURAL DURABILITY EVEN TO THEIR ORGANS. SHE HAD BEEN STABBED BY IVO'ZEN, THAT STAB COULD HAVE KILLED ANYONE, BUT HER BODY WASN'T GIVING UP. XORLARIANS DON'T HAVE THE ABILITY TO HEAL NATURALLY LIKE I EXPLAINED EARLIER WITH GETRAX, BUT THERE BODY COMPOSITION WAS VERY STRONG AND STRONGER THAN MOST BEINGS).

The battle field also looked busy as many Amargans and Humans could be seen happy cheering Ivo'Zen for their victory.

Kalzifrax stood at the entrance of his massive black ship bittered at what he had just seen.

"I can't pay these clowns" Kalzifrax said to himself.

The Amargans were still cheering Ivo'Zen until they heard the words of their leader.

"Silence" Tali'Ina said. She was the highest council member in the Amargan society, so she was given utmost respect. She was like the President of The Amargan Society.

There was now complete silence as all the Amargans turn their gaze towards Kalzifrax bitterly:

"You gave us a contest and we accepted and according to Article 4126790 of The Universal Code, you ought to give us anything we ask". Tali'Ina said. There was a great silence everywhere as the Amargans and Humans wanted to hear what she would ask for. She was the Amargan leader, so it was right that she was the one who asked.

Tali'Ina continued: "You and Everyone in your black ship shall be our slaves".

Kalzifrax's face immediately underwent a stark transformation as Tali'Ina made her request. His expression shifted from anger to an eerie calmness. He exuded a menacing presence, an unspoken warning. He was extremely angry that these low class beings (Amargans) would ask him (A Planets Conqueror) for such a thing.

The other Amargans were busy cheering for the request their leader just asked.

"So when would you comply..." Tali'Ina's voice trailed off, her eyes widening with a mix of shock and terror. In that moment, time seemed to slow to a crawl as an eerie silence enveloped the battleground. The air crackled with an otherworldly energy, a palpable tension that sent shivers down the spines of all who bore witness.

Then, in a horrifying twist of fate, the unthinkable occurred. Kalzifrax's eyes, once filled with a smoldering fury, blazed with an intense and malevolent light. It was as if his very gaze had become a weapon, emanating searing heat and unimaginable power.

With a sudden, violent motion, a wave of scorching energy surged forth from Kalzifrax's eyes, cutting through the air like a searing blade. Time seemed to stretch as the deadly heat visions locked onto Tali'Ina, tracing an unyielding path of destruction toward her.

A bloodcurdling scream tore through the battlefield as Tali'Ina's body was rent asunder, the searing heat cleaving her in two with merciless precision. The crowd, frozen in disbelief, watched in horror as crimson droplets stained the ground, a chilling testament to the brutality of the attack.

The lifeless halves of Tali'Ina's body fell to the scorched earth, a gruesome tableau of the price paid for daring to challenge Kalzifrax's authority. The echoes of her unfinished sentence still hung in the air, a haunting reminder of the swift and brutal retribution that had befallen her.

The crowd stood transfixed, their gasps caught in their throats, as a suffocating silence settled over the battlefield. It was a moment frozen in time, the weight of the tragedy seeping into the very soul of those who bore witness.

In that moment, a chilling realization struck Ivo'Zen, the remaining Amargans, and the Anti-Meta Human travelers. Kalzifrax's power was far greater than anyone could have imagined. The battle for their planet Citarada had taken a harrowing turn, plunging them into an abyss of uncertainty and fear.

What horrors lay in store for Ivo'Zen and the survivors? How could they hope to stand against such an overwhelming force?
