Back on Earth, Martha had been crying for the disappearance of her son and the death of her husband. 'Why is this world so wicked to me' she thought.
She had been looking for her son Miller for up to two months.
(NOTE: THE WAY TIME MOVED ON EARTH AND IN THE UNKNOWN PLANET WHERE THE TRIO ARE, IS THE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS ENTIRELY. JAMES, MILLER AND THE OFFICER HAD NOT EVEN CROSSED ONE DAY ONE THE PLANET AND IT WAS ALREADY TWO MONTHS ON EARTH)
Martha was in her kitchen, and she had lost weight because she ate infrequently. On the same day that her husband passed away, her son Miller was nowhere to be found.
Miller and James vanished without a trace, and Martha even considered the possibility that Miller had been abducted by James.
Martha had discovered a concealed phone in the kitchen two days prior. Miller had spotted Carlos using the same phone, days before he went to school.
Martha found it difficult to determine who killed her husband from the phone call she overheard. Carlos had recorded it that evening. Martha was in her room playing the record at the time.
The words from the recording were audible when she played it.
"I did what you told me to do" Although she was not present when this phone call was made, she could recognize this very voice because it belongs to her husband; CARLOS.
"Carlos, I know what you're capable of, and I know you have the courage to do it. If the first contract isn't enough, I have another one for you, and I'm going to pay you a lot of money." An Unknown voice spoke to Carlos, Martha could not recognize this strange voice.
"I can't do that we made an agreement remember, one contract and it is over, is that not what we agreed on" Carlos was telling the unknown person through the phone.
"I can't send my metahumans there, therefore I'd want to send you. You will not be easily detected by the typical individual. Simply go to Adam's Enterprises and do as instructed; I will have someone waiting for you." the unknown caller said to Carlos.
"But why? must i do that, pls can't you people send someone else?" Carlos said to the caller.
"If you don't do it, you know what i can do to your wife and your son Miller" the unknown caller said to Carlos in an aggressive tone.
"Please not my wife or children, i will do whatever you tell me to do." Carlos said back to him.
These were the only words spoken before the call was ended. Martha had been playing this for two days now and is still confused as to what and why her husband kept it a secret from her.

Rumours of an alien killing people at night were widely spreading across the city, this had made the council members gather and imposed a curfew every night for the last two months. Any body outside at night would be treated as a criminal and is to be shut right on the spot.
The alien, with little spikes at the end of his tail, was the one terrorizing the city, he only came at night, he hid somewhere in the city that the humans have not been able to spot him.
The other deteroits had not arrived yet because they were still waiting for their second moon to turn blue which would indicate a new year for them. They planned to invade the planet on a new year.
Hugo was sitting in his room, since the sudden deteroits attacks, Lyra did not even bother about killing him anymore.
Hugo had been brought to that strange lab from time to time to study the deteroits that was in prison. They always did blindfold him when taking him there.
Hugo who was sitting at a seat in his room and was also touching a letter. It was the same letter that was sent to him Two months ago, on the letter something was written but now nothing was written, so it was kind of strange to him.
Hugo felt puzzled and sick at the thought of this letter: 'Who sent it that day?' he pondered.
"Hugo! Hugo!!!" A voice could be heard shouting his name and also knocking the door so hard.
BANG*****
The doors were hit so hard that it also made Hugo angry. Who was disturbing his peaceful session. He then left his room to his parlour and then opened the door.
When he opened the door, he saw A woman. "Hugo, the deteroits have killed them"
"Who" Hugo asked her scared of who it was for her to knock his door like this.
"It's your wife and your daughter Isabella, they had been killed by the deteroits".
