*******

A man approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall with a light complexion remarked, "Don't get any closer, it could be dangerous."

He spoke to a man who was currently going towards what appeared to be a oval shaped teleportation device.

The man heading forward was thinking, 'Why can't I stop myself from being attracted to this bizarre device?

At the far end of the room was something that resembled an oval form and was primarily made of dark blue, with a white light emanating from it.

But the most astounding part was that the light was so strong that it affected the people on the opposite end, except for the man approaching it, who was lured to continue walking.

It was as if the light had a gravitational pull that could attract objects to it.

Objects were moving into it, and it seemed as if the more objects that entered it, the more powerful, stronger, and more powerful it became.

Footsteps after footsteps, the man was consumed by the light, and the others saw him erased by the light.

Hugo saw a significant heat emanating from the light.

Hugo was the man in charge of the department he was in; they were all scientists, and they were all dressed in white garments that covered the most of their bodies.

Many tables were levitating in the air, and papers were flying into something with an oval shape that emitted white light.

With so many people hurrying towards the entrance, the room became disorganised. But as they arrived at the door. It was as though it wouldn't open.

The door appeared to be constructed entirely of metal, and it had some kind of design close to the edge on the right side, giving the appearance that a fingerprint could be inserted.

The fingerprint may have worked, but it refused to operate because of the people's worry; they were not calm, thus it refused to work.

People were so terrified that they couldn't even use their brains to think properly, so they began hitting the door until it finally opened.

But it was not them that opened the door, for none of their hits left a mark on it. It made no difference; it was as if the more the door was pounded, the stronger it became.

As the door opened, a man in his early forties with little to no hair on his head and no beard entered; he was neither short nor tall, but was a reasonable height for his standing. He was the commanding officer at that headquarters. He wore a single black outfit with blue and red stripes akin to zebra stripes, but distinct and duller in tone.

On a normal day, they would all salute the general, but panic prompted them to leave the scene quickly for their protection.

The man was not startled because those were civilians and they were scared; he was followed by two people who likewise wore a single black garment but did not have any stripes on it.

Only Hugo and another scientist remained after everyone in white (scientists) fled.

"What happened here, and how do you recommend we stop it before it gets out of hand?" said the man.

The man said this while pointing to what they all assumed to be a teleporter at the far end of the room.

"Honestly, sir, we're all confused, and I just think it'd be better if we just destroyed it," Hugo responded.

"But that guy went in there, aren't we supposed to try to sa...?" Another man, clothed in white like Hugo, spoke forward.

"No, we cannot do that; we can't risk our lives for him, I informed him, but he persisted, so there is nothing we can do."Hugo retorted aggressively to the man.

The general asked a man with yellow hair who were following him if they could take it out.

One of the men there, whose hair was yellow and who appeared a little overweight, responded with a salute, "I would try my best sir."

He then advanced, came to a halt, and took in a breath of air. When he exhaled, it was evident that he possessed superhuman abilities, as the force he exerted was beyond what an ordinary person could achieve.

The air from his mouth was hot and dense, producing heat and was colour yellow like his hair, yet it wasn't fire. It was Super Breath just like that of Superman.

The power of the air hitting the apparatus was so tremendous that it impacted the eyes of people nearby.

BANG!

It hit the device, and the hit enraged the device, as if it were alive, and the machine replied by creating a huge noise that sounded like a beast eager to devour its prey.

The white light from the oval-shaped item suddenly rose in force, as did its gravity, yet oddly, the light began to turn red, as if it was solidifying.

The boy with yellow hair gradually began running at full speed and eventually dove into the device.

Everyone in the room was stunned, as if the youngster had gone wild, for the machine demolished everything in its path.

'Is he mad, or is the contraption doing something to their psyche?' Hugo pondered.

The boy with the yellow hair jumped into immediately, as though the device was happy like a child who has just been given ice cream after wailing for a long period.

The power emanating from the gadget gradually diminished until it vanished into thin air, leaving no evidence of its presence.

The rest of them were perplexed as to why or what prompted him to climb into the contraption, given that he was clearly oblivious.

The question why they went inside puzzled all of them there.
