Synopsis
Disclaimer Below!!! This is a work of Fiction. I do not intend to insult or belittle anyone or anything that may have similarities with real-life situations such as names, jobs, beliefs, etc. Enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before the creation existed, there was a group of beings that held unimaginable powers called Gods. They lived in a peaceful but not harmonious state since their Supreme Creator had left them. Day by day, their realm slowly crumbled without the existence of their Creator. So, without any other options, they began searching for a way to find their Creator in hopes of restoring their peaceful realm. And it seems, the ones who found it first were the two eldest among them, Life and Death. Will others found what those two found? Will they find other ways to go down and interact with their creations face to face? Or will they gave up on saving their creations that they had been tasked to deal with? Follow the adventures of the God of Death, with his (Lover?)friend, — that is actually separated — God of Life, at their search for their Creator, or to find the secrets that their Creator had left them.

Chapter 1 - The Origin is Vast

A very long time ago, when all existence was just void, there lived a single Being who could create thousands of universes and concepts with a simple wave of a hand, and erase them completely with a snap of Their fingers. Over time, as Their powers grew, They began creating universes effortlessly, just by exerting their will. The universes began to multiply, stacking on top of each other - billions, trillions, and counting. The Being knew that if this continued, even Their omnipotence would become useless. Despite the temptation to erase them all, The Being had developed an intense love for everything They had created, and so They lacked the motivation to erase Their existence.

Thus, The Being created other lower beings whom They called Gods. These Gods were tasked with assisting The Being whenever the universes that were created became unstable. The Being created various Gods, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. For eons, The Being - who the Gods later called Genesis - created hundreds of Gods, and each one possessed unique strengths and weaknesses. Eventually, the Gods themselves became capable of creating other Lower Gods, such as the God of Elements who created Gods of Water, Earth, Fire, and so on.

With Genesis' wisdom, all the Gods were living in peace and harmony. However, as time passed, Genesis became increasingly bored of ruling. He even considered the idea of restarting everything from scratch, but he quickly dismissed the thought before he could even consider erasing everything.

Despite his love and omnipotence, Genesis was beginning to lose control ever since he created the Gods. However, the Gods were his creations, and he lacked the motivation to erase them, even though their existence made his own existence a bit more difficult.

To ease Himself and the Gods, Genesis decided to take a vacation in one of the nearly infinite universes that He had created. The Gods did not object, as they loved Genesis to their very core and wanted the best for Him. However, some of the Gods were losing morale, and some even thought that Genesis had left for vacation because of their own faults.

Ages had passed since Genesis had left his throne. Some Gods eagerly awaited his return, while others went about their tasks as if it were a normal day. Among them were the God of Life and God of Death, who were engaged in a game of chess where Life seems to be winning and Death, losing. Eventually, Life emerged victorious and started creating an orb filled with different colors and countless tiny stars inside. This was a new universe.

"Oh my Genesis... you keep winning on me! Can't you give me an easy play? You do know I hate chess. Why did Lord Genesis task us with chess anyway? Rrgh!" the God of Death grunted in frustration. "It is Lord Genesis' command that we do it like this. Like it or not, you will have to obey," responded the God of Life in an emotionless tone. "I know! If I'm like this when Lord Genesis is still here, I might get erased and replaced with a new Shinida," replied the God of Death, also known as Shinida.

"Lord Genesis is a kind and loving creator, Shinida," God of Life said. "He has always been patient with us, even when we have tested His limits. If we make mistakes or misbehave, He would give us a strict lecture, but He would never erase or change us into new Gods. That's just not who He is." She added.

Shinida nodded, relieved to hear Life's words. "You're right, Inami. I know deep down that Lord Genesis loves us, but sometimes I can't help but worry. What if He never returns? How can we maintain the balance of all creations without Him?" Shinida asked, visibly concerned.

"We must have faith, Shinida," God of Life, or Inami replied. "Lord Genesis entrusted us with a great responsibility, and we must carry out our duties even in His absence. All Creations, would not exist without us. We must continue to do our best, and trust that Lord Genesis will return to us when the time is right."

When they are still in a middle of a conversation, suddenly out of nowhere...

"E-Erggh!"

"What?!"

Shinida and Inami flinched as a strange feeling crept over them. They looked at each other seriously, then nodded in understanding.

"So, you felt it too," Shinida said seriously to Inami.

"I did. But what could be causing this strange sensation?" Inami questioned.

"We don't know yet, but we need to find out, fast. Let's go!" Shinida said, teleporting away with Inami in tow.

(In The Scene)

"No!!! My library!!!" Someone exclaimed in horror.

"Hey Alvis! What happened here?!" Shinida questioned Alvis, the God of Intelligence.

"Don't you see?! One-fourth of my library is gone!!! My existence as the God of Intelligence will be ruined!!!" Alvis, the God of Intelligence responded angrily.

Alvis's library, which contained every single book from every existing universe, was annihilated by one-fourth. The remaining space was just an empty void. "What could possibly cause this? Inami, do you find any clues?" Shinida asked Inami.

"Hmm... I haven't found anything yet. I'll take some time to investigate." Inami answered. While Inami is investigating the scene, they got some sudden attention.

"Whoa... Are they God of Life and God of Death?"

"It really is, them!"

"I heard they are the oldest Gods among the Primordial Gods."

"Really? I thought it's the God of Creation and God of Destruction."

"I thought so too. But I heard rumors that they got erased by Lord Genesis after they made Him lose control."

"Hmph... Those two are sure having it nice being in the spotlight."

Various Gods are amazed by the appearance of Shinida and Inami. Without them noticing, Shinida eyed them with a serious look, 'They don't know there is no God of Destruction or Creation. Even I don't know why Lord Genesis did not created them.' said Shinida to himself. 'Wait.. who said that Lord Genesis erased them?! I will find whoever they are and make sure to break their bones for thinking our Creator has limited patience!!!'

"Shinida, I have a theory." Inami said earning Shinida's attention.

"Oh? Then explain." Shinida said stoically.

.

(After Explanation)

"So, in short, one-fourth of Alvis' library vanished because it lacked something. But what?" Shinida asked, sounding confused. Inami replied, "Maybe it's the Divine Energy we emit."

"What do you mean?" Shinida asked, seeking clarification.

"We were created by Lord Genesis as His assistance, remember? We were tasked to control the universes He unintentionally created, with each of us emitting Divine Energy to keep the stars in all universes lit. After Genesis' vacation, some of us started to lose morale, which affected their ability to emit the Energy. If we keep losing morale, the Realm we are living in might collapse, leading to everyone's existence being erased. Not only that, all the creations we worked hard to maintain will collapse too, with the stars beginning to die one by one," Inami explained.

"I see now." Shinida said with another grunted face. He knew that the only One to fix all this is Him. "I cannot believe we need this, but we will have to search for Lord Genesis to ask for His help. Damn it," Shinida said, clearly frustrated.

"As much as we hate this, we have no choice. I will go back to our room to see if there are clues that He secretly gave us to find Him," Inami said, teleporting immediately.

"Ugh. Such a bother... What are you all looking at? Get back to work! The universes won't survive by themselves!" Shinida yelled at some Gods who kept staring at him, mostly the female Gods. "That should keep the creations going a little longer. Hopefully—hmm?" Shinida noticed a single book that seemed to have survived the annihilation of one-fourth of Alvis' library. "I need to give this to Alvis, but what's wrong with reading a bit?" Shinida said jokingly.

*Flip*

"Let's see... How to become...

...

WHAT?!"
