The male omega tried to coordinate his thoughts , feeling the headache finally settle, god he felt like shit, and he hadn't even being involved in the original storyline for a full day. Speaking off which ,he felt The female omega squeeze his hand softly and he squeezed back trying to calm down her panicking nerves, from the corner of his eye, he saw that she had bowed her head, her gaze fixed on the floor, but snow haired male couldn't blame her for that.
M/N, too resisted the urge to look at the other two males sitting directly in front of them, trying to ignore how their sharp orbs were burrowing into him and his sister and the stuffy feeling of being in a some what small space with the alphabet, instead he turned his attention outside the carriage window, ignoring the ridiculous swarm of guards around and looking at the passing scenery of buildings and trees as he tried to wrap his around what had transpired a few hours ago.

After the shocking 'warm' welcome, Luzak publicly announced the Celeste and M/N as members of his household and they were to be seen as such. The two siblings were then carted off into a luxurious white and blue carriage with little to no chance off resisting as they were practically placed on the soft white velvety seats of the carriage, with their now father and elder brother seating at directly in front of them and could only watch in absolute disbelief as they were being taken to the Cashmire manor

Thankfully the extra protection potion he had poured on Celeste's ring seemed to keep her own scent in check as well, from the way her shoulders kept fidgeting and the smile on her face seemed more strained, he was sure the horrid smell of cooper and wet dog would have filled up the carriage if he hadn't. The cool wind he was feeling from the passing breeze helped a bit, with how cluster phobic he was beginning to feel and gave way for him to start thinking properly
' Okay let's calm down now and think things through before I burst a blood vessel. Big terror daddy seems to have shown interest in us, which is not supposed to happen, heck in the novel he out right insults Celeste in front of all the nobles present within the fifteen minutes of her arriving, but instead of that he gave us a 'welcoming smile' (let's call it that for now) and announced to everyone that we are now to be seen as his children and members of the Cashmire household.'
That wasn't entirely a bad thing though, being seen as legitimate members of the archduke's family, gave them a higher social standing than some other nobles just by being acknowledged, so they wouldn't constantly have to deal with shit thrown at them, but the con's were far higher than the gain and thinking about it made his head throb.
∆Con- they would be seen as easy prey to get closer to the Archduke and greedy nobles would try to butter them
Pro- they could sell the gifts they receive to gain money and stash it away for a rainy day(or to escape certain death)
∆ if said Archduke continued to show interest in them, who knows what fucked up shit his other children would plan to do to them

∆ They would be more likely to be kidnapped by thieves who would ask for a ransome price, and then would mostly likely die in their hands, since he knew Luzak wouldn't pay a single coin to get them out of the situation

∆ A particular blonde haired wife wouldn't take too kindly to knowing that her husband is showing interest in the children of her 'rival'. Even if it's only for sadistic entertainment (but he will admit, seeing the crazy bitch pissed would be a lovely sight)
∆ Con- They would most likely be forced to appear in social gatherings, so Celeste might meet majority of the male leads before the plot even starts

∆ Con- they wouldn't be able to disappear from the family without alerting attention and even if they did. They would be hunted down and found in a couple of days,after that who knows what the man would do to them (a grizzly image of a flayed body flashed in his mind and he knew that was the least they would receive as punish)

∆ Con- they would get involved with the sleazy bastards who run the holy temple, far earlier than expected

'Still the only major thing I've done other than giving my sister proper education, is get rid of Maria, originally she was supposed to appear along with Celeste during her introduction, but she was hardly mentioned during the chapter other than she was their to 'comfort' Celeste after she had being publicly disgraced she didn't play any other role. And her and Luzax never spoke to each other before, so she's practically non existent in his life, but still could her not being her have triggered this? Or did i make Celeste too independent? '
Lost in thought the petite male's blue orbs mindlessly drifted over the guards that had been following the carriage, not really paying attention to anyone in particular, as his gaze swept over them, stopping to glare at a red haired alpha commander, before continuing until they locked with a pair of dark pink eyes, shocking him a bit when he figured they had being watching him for a while.
The snow haired male blinked a couple of times as he took in the others appearance and fought down a blush that threatened to show on his pale cheeks, even if the man was pretty, it didn't make it any less creepy that he seemed to having been watching the snapper male for a while. 'Who is he? I don't think I've seen him before, and he looks to pretty to be a background character' the question popped up in his head as he stared back at the male, both of them seemed to be locked in a small staring contest and the male twin narrowed his eyes in suspicion when the pink haired males lips pulled into a teasing smile, his pink orbs seeming to glint in a mocking way and that irked the smaller male even more 'This cheeky little-'
"M/N." A deep voice snapped him out of his mind rant and he managed to stop his body flinching at the coldness used to say his name and he felt his stomach drop
Quickly moving his gaze from out the window and dismissing the mysterious male's stare,he steadily turned to look over at the Archduke. Stormy blue hues watched his every move with precision and the omega could feel his heart beat quicken. Biting back a whimper the petite male forced a response out of his lips "Yes your Highne-" "Father" the voice caught him off and M/N nearly choked on his own saliva but managed to catch himself on time, but his eyes did widen at the older alpha's demand,
"W..what?" M/N didn't voice out the question, , but Celeste did and the shocked expression on her face mirrored his and the sight made the dark haired alpha raise his eyebrow at the two of them, "Haven't I made it clear enough that your both my offsprings or do you have a problem with it?", He cocked his head to the side a bit to stare the two down, his eyes glinting dangerously as if daring them to speak up against his words. The snow haired bit back a swear and squeezed his sister's hand ignoring how her grip had gotten stronger and focused his attention back on the older man. " Understood... Father. Is there anything you would like from me? " the words flowed out of the Omega's plump lips with an air of confidence,his face reverting back to his normal calm and neutral expression, ignoring the way his heart was hammering in his chest. He was scared yes, but he would be damned if he let these two monsters get a rile out of it.
Luzak's eyed the smaller male, staring at his petite form, his gaze taking in his appearance before looking away, eyes deeming in disinterest. "Lose the sword as we get down, I don't want my children feeling threatened in their own home, or my wives thinking their being disrespected" he hummed out his voice not holding any emotion, making the male Omega's shoulders hitch a bit. He know the dark haired alpha,would have known he was armed, bit of still didn't feel any better to be called out for it. Ignoring Celeste's worried side glance and the darkened look that the blonde alpha shot his way and simply replied with an audible 'Yes father', his blue orbs lowering to the ground, and with that the conversion ended. Silence filled the carriage again, the only noise being heard was the whining of horses and the heavy footsteps of man and beast outside.
The silence continued for another hour or two, before M/N and Celeste could feel the carriage slow down it's pace and the male omega, felt his heart beat increase. Had they finally made it?. "We arrived your highness" the voice of the red haired alpha outside the carriage confirmed his suspicions could only try to push down the worsening pit in his stomach. Well it was now or never
