Sylvia was packing the bags of spices while noting down the details of the orders they had to complete. Lina had gone to use the bathroom, leaving Sylvia behind in the workshop.
Sylvia was so engrossed in her task that she didn't realise the rushing footsteps approaching her. She was startled as somebody pulled her by hand with force to take her to a secluded corner of the workshop.
"Who is this?" She sounded irritated, but the moment her eyes landed on the familiar face, her anger evaporated quickly. "Corbin?"
She caught the bags under his eyes and the redness in them. She frowned, not understanding the reason behind his state.
"What happened? Didn't you sleep well?"
"Sylvia," His voice came strained. "What did you teach me yesterday?"
Sylvia was confused. "What? I..."
"The meditation technique." Corbin hissed, glancing around in alert. "What is the purpose of that technique?"
