Chapter 17 - Sold To The Landlord

In a villa that stood tall and proud in all its marvellous glory, a bag was unloaded from a carriage during the early hours of dawn. In the dark, nobody dared to question what was inside that large bag as two men carried it to the back of the villa.

Another man standing near the door, opened it to allow the men pass through. Those two men left that bag on a bed. Once those men left, a woman in her sixties entered the dimly lit room.

She opened the bag and looked inside. A smile appeared on her face as she murmured. "My Lord has found a gem this time."

Without delay, she pulled out the woman who was stuffed in that bag. She dragged her into the bathroom where she had already prepared warm water.

One could doubt the strength of that old woman- Gianna but the woman was as strong as she was in her young days.

She removed the unconscious woman's clothes and observed her in awe. She was indeed beautiful, like an art.

Gianna frowned when she found a wooden stick in that woman's dress. Why she had that hidden inside her dress?

She regarded that stick for a minute, but it was just any simple wooden stick. Was this woman planning to poke her Lord's eyes with it?

Gianna giggled at that thought. She could have thrown that stick but decided against it and kept it with those clothes in a corner of the bathroom.

She placed the unconscious woman with dark hair in a bathtub. She began washing her soft body with a satisfactory smile.

This woman was beautiful, and her rightful place belonged here in this villa. Once she bathed that young woman, she dried her body and then covered her with a silk gown.

She dragged her again into the room before placing her on the bed. She then lit up more candles to illuminate the room. She placed some scented candles around the room before sprinkling some rose water on the woman laying on the bed.

Gianna glanced around the room to make sure she had done her job perfectly. She didn't want to miss anything and anger her Lord.

Once she was satisfied, she walked out of the room.

"Keep an eye on her. She was still unconscious but she can also be smart like the previous one." She warned the man standing outside the room.

He scoffed, cursing. "That slut pretended to be unconscious and took an opportunity to run away."

Gianna smirked. Her experienced eyes glinted under the lamp light.

"Poor soul. She ended before she came to any use of My Lord."

"She was undeserving anyway." The man grumbled. "I hope this one would be smart enough to know what is good for her."

Gianna nodded her head before she went to the room on the second floor of the villa. She knocked on the door before hearing permission from inside.

She pushed the door open and stepped inside the large, luxurious room. A fifty-five-year-old man stood in front of the mirror, staring at his reflection.

A silk robe covered his protruded belly. His bald head shone under the light as bright as the gold rings in his fingers.

"My Lord, I have prepared everything as per your liking." She informed him with a slight bow of her head.

The man turned around to look at her. "Is that so?" He asked, raising his brow.

"Yes, My Lord."

"Do you like her?" He then asked, running his fingers over his stubble.

Gianna's face lit up as she nodded her head. "Very much, My Lord! Your taste is always the best!"

Favian Golding smirked arrogantly as he checked himself again in the mirror.

"I know, Gianna." He opened a drawer to his left, and Gianna got excited.

When he turned around again, he had a small pouch full of coins. He threw that pouch in her way, and she caught it effortlessly with years of experience.

"Your reward. Now you know the rest."

"Of course, My Lord! Thank you for your kindness!"

Gianna was working for Favian Golding for more than thirty years. The rich landlord had no shortage of money. His ancestors had left him more than he could count, yet he added to his treasure using every means available to him.

Favian walked out of his room and took the path that Gianna had taken a few minutes ago. He reached the door of one of the rooms at the back of the villa. His loyal was standing outside, guarding the door and also the woman behind that door.

He bowed as soon as he saw his Lord approaching.

"Is she awake?" Favian asked.

The man shook his head. "Not yet, My Lord. I didn't hear any sounds coming from inside."

"Didn't you peeked inside?" Favian asked, his expressions unreadable.

The man shook his head with wide eyes. "How can I see something that belongs to you, My Lord?!"

A satisfying smile stretched on Favian's face. He patted the man on the shoulder before pushing the door open.

Once he was inside, the door was closed behind him and wouldn't be open till the morning or until Favian wanted.

He took slow steps toward the bed while reck up the woman laying in the bed. He had seen only a little of her yesterday. Yet he knew she was the one he wanted.

But now under the bright light, he could see her voluptuous body. The gown she wore made her look more appealing than he thought.

She was a little shorter with milky white skin as if a porcelain doll was made in great detail. Her plump pink lips aroused him. Her dark locks sprawled around her head, covering the white pillow under her head.

Her chest rose and fell rhythmically as she breathed steadily. Her full small breasts made Favian's mouth water in anticipation.

How would they feel inside his mouth? That very thought made him hard down there. Standing near the bed, he stretched his hand to touch her right leg.

He slowly ran his finger up her leg, feeling the softness of her skin. He liked her flat belly before his hand lingered on her chest.

His mind was filled with things he wanted to do with her. Usually, he didn't wait for his prey to wake up. He didn't need their permission and he didn't care about their consent.

But this one... she was different. There was something about her that made him want to wait.

Was it her innocence? Perhaps.

But he didn't want to feel her when she was not in her senses. He could tell that she was going to put up a strong fight against him once she was awake.

How fun that would be!

He would enjoy her more after winning that fight against her. Favian sat near her legs, waiting for her to open her eyes. Meanwhile, his mind busied itself, imagining what he would do with her.

About an hour passed, and he felt her fingers twitch. Sylvia stirred in sleep, her head pounding painfully.

She forced her eyes open, but they closed immediately, unable to adjust to the sudden exposure to the light. A soft whimper escaped her lips as she stirred. Her whole body ached.

"Sylvia"

Someone called her name. But her mind didn't ring any bell. She didn't know whose voice was that.

"Open your eyes, Sylvia."

Sylvia felt parched. When she opened her mouth to speak, she broke into a dry cough. Favian grabbed a glass of water from the side table and helped her to get up. He brought the glass to her lips.

Sylvia quenched her thirst, feeling better now. When she finally lifted her gaze and took notice of her helper, her eyes widened in pure shock. She immediately scrambled back from Favian after pushing his hand away from her.

The glass in his hand slipped and dropped on the floor, shattering into shreds.

"Wh-who are you? Wh-where I am?" Sylvia looked around her surroundings for the first time to realise she was in an unknown place.

"Relax, little flower!"

Sylvia's breath stopped. She looked back at Favian keenly.

Her chin trembled, and her fists clutched tightly on the bedsheet.

"You... you are the same man who..."

A grin appeared on Favian's face under his thick moustache.

"You are smart. I like that!"

Fear gripped Sylvia's heart in an iron fist. Before things go out of her control, she flung herself out of the bed. But she clearly overestimated her physical state.

As soon as she stood on her feet and took a step forward, her knees gave up on her as if they remained with no life. She dropped to the floor helplessly, yet she tried to push herself forward with her hands.

Favian watched her attempts of escaping in amazement. He stood up and walked over to her with slow steps.

"It is useless, Sylvia. You cannot escape from here. Listen to me, you don't even need to do so. I promise to keep you happy here."

Sylvia glared at him and screeched. "The hell with you! I am not going to stay with a pig like you!"

A tight slap landed on her cheek before Favian's angry face came into her blurry vision. Tears welled in her eyes as she held her bruised cheek.

Favian grabbed her hair and glared straight into her eyes.

"Watch your mouth, little slut! I am trying to be nice here with you and you are insulting me?!"

Sylvia sobbed. "Please let me go. I-I don't want to live here. P-please!"

Favian sighed, letting go of her hair. He removed her hand from her cheek and assessed her bruise.

"Look, Sylvia. You must have realised by now that I have bought you from those people because I think you are going to make me a happy man.

In return, I will take care of you and provide you with clothes, shelter and food. What else do you want? Any woman would jump on this opportunity. Do you even know who I am?"

Sylvia shook her head, pleading in vain. "But I don't want any of that. I... I am not like those women. I-I can't give you what you want from me."

Favian observed her in silence for a minute. She could see wheels running in his head. Sylvia saw hope in his silence. Maybe she had a chance.

"Then I will take it by force."

Sylvia cried in horror when he grabbed her body and made her stand up. Before she said anything, he threw her on the bed.

"NOOOO!!!" Sylvia's cries fell on the ears of the man guarding outside.

Not a few minutes later, Sylvia's cries came mixed with Favian's grunts and loud curses. The man guarding outside smirked before leaving his place.

Because he knew that door was not going to open until the morning.
