A few minutes ago, just when Tony joined the battle, a shadow flew towards Thor at a speed even faster than Tony's armor.
Thor, still clad in brilliant lightning, caught the supersonic Mjolnir with his right hand. He raised the hammer over his head, causing the dark cloud to coil violently like a black dragon. Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled before a thick pillar of lightning struck Thor.
Perhaps it was due to Li Yue's provocation, but Thor's reawakening had caused much more of a ruckus than the one shown in the first Thor movie. It wasn't quite the level of awakening in the third movie, but it was still quite spectacular.
Compared to Thor, Li Yue's awakening was less dramatic. He was copying Thor's transformation, so he could never surpass Thor's limit. A small cloud had also gathered above Li Yue, but it was quickly swallowed by Thor's swirling clouds. The lightning that struck Li Yue was also considerably thinner.
Thor had reawakened his divine power, while Li Yue absorbed divine power. Although the method was different, the effect was the same.
It was the sight of humans ascending into godhood.
Jane, the professor, and the others had already retreated to watch from a safer distance. Their astonishment probably wouldn't fade for a long time. This apocalyptic disaster could only be the power of the real God of Thunder.
Coulson was still some distance away, but he could already see the thick black clouds and thunderstorms. He had a hunch that Thor had caused all this by regaining the lost divine power.
Coulson was shocked, but more than that he was worried. If such an immensely powerful entity turns against Earth, would the Earth be able to resist?

Li Yue was in a glorious mood. If he wasn't out in public, he would've cried out of joy.
The baptism of lightning accelerated his evolution, as well as feeding power to his spiritual sky. The third star had absorbed a massive amount of energy and shone as brightly as the other two. Li Yue should be able to travel to a new universe soon.
Li Yue looked forward to the new universe that this star would open.

Unfortunately, all good things must end. The baptism of lightning ended as Thor let out a loud roar that dissipated the dark clouds in the sky.
Thor emerged from within the lightning, still sparking with electricity. He wore his beautiful armor, with a red cloak flowing behind him.
"Thor is so cool when she became Thunder God." Jane's eyes lit up as she stared at Thor's figure. She didn't expect that he would become so handsome. Her heart unconsciously accelerated at the sight.
"Hey, what about that other guy? He also absorbed lightning like Thor. Is that something an ordinary person can do? There was also that portal he used to bring us here," Daisy suddenly pondered. That person stood along with Iron Man and Captain America, wielding incredible and mysterious abilities.
"That portal he made...it was just like, like, like magic. Yeah, it gotta be magic. It can't be anything else."

After Thor awakened his divine power, the first thing he did was throw the hammer in his hand at the Destroyer Battle Armor.
This scene would've been extremely hype for the audience with the BGM "Immigrant Song."
After the hammer slammed on the Destroyer, Thor extended his right hand, and the distant Mjolnir obediently reversed its flight path to return to Thor's hand.
"Loki! I won't let you hurt my friend!" Thor roared at the Destroyer Battle Armor. Of course, his words were directed at Loki.
Thor then charged towards the Destroyer, leaping with his legs unto the sky with the axe—I mean the hammer in his both hand. He used his free-falling momentum to ruthlessly slam the hammer down on the Destroyer's head, electricity streaking along its path.
Boom!!!
A deafening sound of clashing metal exploded. The Mjolnir smashed the Destroyer into pieces, never to stand up again.
"Loki! I will settle this score with you the second I step back on Asgardian soil!" Thor said in a low voice at the crushed Destroyer pieces. He didn't really care if Loki could still hear him.
The people that watched the scene all have different thoughts in their minds.
Li Yue's spiritual sense showed that Thor's attack, while strong, was far from enough to break the Destroyer.
Li Yue sighed. That old fox Odin must've foreseen this event and enchanted the Destroyer to break apart from within if it was ever come into contact with Thor's divine lightning, giving the appearance that Thor had shattered it.
Odin had meticulously planned Thor's path of growth. He even used the powerful Destroyer as a mere stepping stone. No wonder the Destroyer in the movie couldn't take a hit.

Captain America sighed in relief when he saw the powerful enemy had been dealt with. He walked to pick up his shield that had fallen not far away and carried it on his back. This was his first battle after waking up, and it ended in utter defeat. He could only hide behind his shield.
Tony descended from the sky, his eyes wary of the God of Thunder.
The Three Warriors surrounded Thor, who had returned in his armor. They repeatedly congratulated Thor for reclaiming his divine power.
Jane and her group also tentatively walked closer.
After Thor was done with his friends, he stared at Jane, who was approaching him with bewitched eyes.
Jane and Thor stared at each other for a while, speaking through their eyes.
...
While Thor and Jane were busy being smitten with each other, Tony landed on the ground and opened his mask, revealing his displeased face to Li Yue.
"Why did you join that curtain-wearing guy in the freak lightning storm? You could've struck me!"
"Ah, sorry, Tony. I'll tell you to stay away first next time!" Li Yue replied in an embarrassed tone.
Li Yue could only imagine the disastrous (but admittedly funny) scene of Tony dying from a lightning strike before he could put on his armor.
"You still want a next time?!"

Several black off-road vehicles finally arrived at the scene. A group of men in black exit the car, led by Coulson.
"Coulson! Are you sure the SHIELD wasn't just a police department? You always come after the incident was over!" Tony greeted Coulson with irritating sarcasm.
As expected of a professional agent, Coulson ignored Tony and went directly to Thor.
"Excuse me, Thor, you..."
"I represent Asgard, the protector of the nine realms. We fight to defend the nine realms, including this world. From now on, you can treat Asgard as your ally—as long as you return the things you took from Jane."
"They were stolen!"
"I prefer borrowed," Coulson replied calmly.
...
"Thank you for your help! You have gained my friendship!" Thor said to Li Yue and the others.
He gave Jane a kiss before gathering with his Asgardian friends and shouting to the sky:
"Heimdallr, take me back!"
Ten seconds, thirty seconds, one minute...
There was no response, and Thor was embarrassed.
"Heimdallr! Can you hear me? I need you!"
Boom!!!
Something finally happened. The weather suddenly worsened again.
