"This world actually has Godzilla!"
Li Yue was deeply shocked upon reading the information about Godzilla. He also felt confused. Godzilla was different from the kaiju in Pacific Rim. While the Jaegers could defeat the kaiju, Godzilla's power was on another level. The kaiju in this world weighed only a few thousand tons, whereas Godzilla weighed over ten thousand tons. Li Yue was still determining if he could defeat Godzilla with his current strength.
However, according to the information Little Dumb found, Godzilla hadn't been seen since a nuclear bomb hit it. Most people assumed it was dead. Li Yue, however, believed Godzilla was merely sleeping somewhere in the Pacific.
...
Putting aside the Godzilla issue, Li Yue pondered his limited understanding of this world for now. So far, this world has elements from Pacific Rim, Jurassic Park, and Godzilla. He wasn't sure if more movie worlds would appear, but he noticed something unusual about the fourth star in the cosmic space of his mind. He suspected it was related to the Space Stone heating up when he arrived.
He temporarily set aside his doubts since he couldn't figure out what had happened during his traversal.
...
The night passed quickly, and soon it was the next day. Although Li Yue hadn't slept, he felt no fatigue. Early in the morning, he heard a knock on his door.
"Hi, good morning, Mr. Li Yue!"
Li Yue had expected the two doctors to come, but upon opening the door, he found not only them but also three familiar faces. The first to greet him was the girl who had bombarded him with questions upon his arrival at the base.
"Mr. Li Yue, how did you sleep last night?"
The other two were Lin Zhenguo and a Black man. Li Yue recognised the Black man as the general from the movie, the supervisor of the two scientists. His presence was not surprising.
"Thank you for asking, General Lin. I slept well. But what brings you here?" Li Yue asked with a smile.
"That's good to hear. I've learned that you're going to Jurassic Park today with the doctors. I hope you can take her with you," Lin Zhenguo said, pointing to Lin Yurou.
"Take her with us?" Li Yue asked, puzzled. "General Lin, you know we're not going there for a vacation. Taking a girl along seems inconvenient."
"That's sexist!" Lin Yurou huffed indignantly.
"Regardless of what you say, unless there's a reason to bring you, I'm not taking you along."
...
In the end, they did bring Lin Yurou. The group of four boarded a plane carrying the live kaiju brain Newton had preserved, heading to Isla Nublar, the site of Jurassic Park. The island, a private purchase by a mysterious organisation, had been transformed into a dinosaur-themed park. Coincidentally, Isla Nublar was also in the Pacific.
...
During the flight, Lin Yurou was never quiet. She alternated between bombarding Li Yue with questions and asking Newton and Hermann about the park. The two doctors, finding her curiosity endearing, answered all her questions. After several hours of flight, they finally arrived at Isla Nublar.
"Wow, this island is huge! Is that Jurassic Park?" Lin Yurou exclaimed, spotting the park's large gate inscribed with the name.
As the plane landed, Li Yue saw several people waiting for them.
"Newton, long time no see! How have you been? Any new girlfriends?" greeted a white woman, apparently, Newton's contact, who turned out to be attractive.
"I'm the same. As for girlfriends, I'd say kaiju are my girlfriends, considering I spend most nights with their organs," Newton replied, showing a rare change in demeanour around the woman.
"You're still the same old you! Hello everyone, I'm Chloe. Nice to meet you all!" the woman introduced herself with a bright smile.
Following the introductions, Chloe said, "Welcome to Jurassic Park! I hope this will be an unforgettable experience for you. But first, let's take care of the task you came here for."
She instructed several strong men to transport the kaiju brain and equipment to her lab.
"Let's go," Chloe said, leading the group into the park.
...
"Li Yue, I think those two have a special relationship," Lin Yurou whispered to Li Yue, pointing to Newton and Chloe walking ahead.
"Their relationship has nothing to do with you, kid. And who said you could call me brother?" Li Yue responded.
"You're not that much older than me. If I don't call you brother, should I call you uncle? Besides, I don't want to keep calling you Mr. Li Yue," Lin Yurou said matter-of-factly.
"Fine, whatever," Li Yue conceded with a sigh.
