"Mr. Strange, on behalf of the other Justice League members, I warmly welcome you to our ranks!"
"And I think we should arrange a time for you to meet the others and get to know each other," Li Yue said with a smile.
"Thank you. I'll leave it to you to arrange," Strange replied, smiling in agreement.
"Let's not waste any time then. How about tomorrow?" Li Yue suggested, eager to move things along so he could head to the next world as soon as possible.
Strange had no objections. He was interested in meeting the superheroes who had indirectly saved his life.
...
Strange's decision to join the Justice League and meet its members was made swiftly. During this process, Mordo and Wong remained silent, acting like bystanders, listening to the conversation without offering opinions.
They trusted Li Yue and had confidence in the Justice League members, mainly since they had fought alongside them during Dormammu's invasion.
With everything settled for the night, each person returned to their rooms for daily meditation.
...
That night, while everyone else quickly entered their meditative states, Strange could not calm his thoughts. The events of the evening had left him too agitated to meditate as usual.
Time flew by, and soon, it was the next day. Strange arrived at Li Yue's residence as agreed. By then, Li Yue had already packed his personal belongings into the Space Stone, which was his storage artefact. He even took the last of the Ancient One's tea, not leaving any for Strange. After all, as an American, Strange might not have appreciated it anyway.
"Mr. Li Yue, even though you're no longer the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj, you've protected this place and the Earth. Why don't you stay here? There are plenty of empty rooms, and I'm not used to living here," Strange suggested, seeing Li Yue packing to leave.
Li Yue suddenly realised he didn't need to leave Kamar-Taj at all. With his abilities, he could come and go as he pleased.
"Alright, since you insist so strongly, I'll stay," Li Yue said, pretending to be persuaded by Strange's earnest request, leaving Strange speechless as if he had been begging Li Yue to stay.
However, Strange had another reason for visiting Li Yue besides the introduction to the Justice League.
"Mr. Li Yue, I have many questions about the Mirror Dimension spell. Could you teach me?"
Strange asked humbly.
"With your talent, you haven't figured it out yet?" Li Yue asked, surprised. He had assumed Strange would master it quickly, given his rapid understanding of other spells.
"Well, I did say yesterday that I can't instantly master every spell," Strange replied with exasperation.
"I've realized that apart from time magic, my faster learning pace is mostly due to my eidetic memory," Strange explained further.
"Moreover, I heard you also sought the Ancient One's help when you were learning space magic," Strange added, a hint of revenge for Li Yue's earlier attitude.
"Did Mordo tell you that?" Li Yue muttered, feeling slightly embarrassed.
But despite the banter, Li Yue taught Strange the Mirror Dimension spell just as the Ancient One had taught him.
...
After the lesson, Li Yue took Strange to meet Tony Stark and the others. The introductions went smoothly, with everyone welcoming Strange except for Tony, who seemed to have an inherent rivalry with him.
A few days later, Li Yue prepared to leave the Marvel Universe after saying his final goodbyes to Lois Lane.
"I wonder what the next world will be. Judging by the previous two, it seems to be a world I'm familiar with."
With his belongings stored in the Space Stone, Li Yue was ready for his next adventure. His items included a modified mini warship, several Vibranium suits, essential supplies, and various foods—basically enough to fill a supermarket.
The Space Stone's nearly infinite space and timelessness made it perfect for storage. Li Yue wanted to be prepared for anything in the new world.
...
With everything set, Li Yue grasped the Space Stone and the Mind Stone, ready to initiate his journey. He communicated with the starry sky in his mind, causing the fourth star to shine brilliantly. A blue wormhole appeared behind him, pulling him in.
