Chapter 168 - Runaway Death

The slaughter lasted for less than an hour and ended when Qin Ge joined the battle, and the once-dominant Smashed Pirates on the Grand Line became history.

Rumble...

The den mushi's ringtone sounded from Qin Ge's embrace. He diverted his attention from the Jelma soldiers cleaning up the battlefield, casually retrieved the den mushi, and answered the call.

"Mr. Alan, how's the situation on your end?" Gauchi's voice and appearance were vividly conveyed through the den den mushi.

"It's over. Xidini and his Smashed Pirates have been eradicated. Why have you discovered any new forces reaching out on your end?" Qin Ge asked.

Although eliminating over ten forces and evil wolves had a significant deterrent effect, causing many vicious wolves to step back and refrain from making rash moves, it didn't mean there were no new threats.

However, Gauchi's contact with Qin Ge was about something else this time. Instead, he mentioned another matter.

"It's not about that. Mr Alan's recent actions have successfully suppressed those bastards' arrogance. I'm contacting you now because I've just received an invitation from the Doflamingo Family, Donquixote Doflamingo!" Gauchi said.

Qin Ge squinted his eyes and asked, "What's the specific content of the invitation?"

"Discussion on arms trade cooperation!" Gauchi replied solemnly.

Qin Ge pondered for a moment. Were they planning to pause hostilities and share interests? It felt more like a trap, though.

"Mr. Alan, if you agree to attend, I've received information that many organizations involved in arms trade, including the Dark Blade, have also received invitations. What do you think?" Gauchi inquired.

After some consideration, Qin Ge finally spoke, "Let's attend. If Doflamingo wants to hold a negotiation, we should see what he's up to. Besides, I'm interested in learning more about these wolves!"

Whether it was a trap or not, Qin Ge was determined to attend. He was confident he could handle any situation.

...

After receiving Qin Ge's reply, Gauchi waited to press further. Although he officially led Jelma, he understood that without Qin Ge's strong support, Jelma would still be hiding in the North Blue, working as a mercenary to earn money.

After ending the call, Qin Ge quickly returned to Jelma's Second Headquarters and awaited the date mentioned in Do Flamingo's invitation.

Jeff, who had endured numerous hardships, anxiously paced back and forth in his hotel room in the New World on a rather ordinary island. Occasionally, he walked to the window to look at the street as if waiting for someone.

Knock, knock, knock...

Suddenly, a series of knocks on the door interrupted Jeff's anxiety. He was startled and then cautiously approached the door. He opened it slightly, and seeing the figures outside, his face lit up joyfully. He quickly opened the door wider.

Two individuals entered. One wore a large hat white gloves, and had a conspicuous curly white beard. He was burly and maintained a constant smile but exuded a steady demeanour. Two sabres hung at his waist.

The other person also had a sabre at his waist. He was slender, had a large nose, and sported an eight-shaped moustache that looked like a lightning bolt.

"Bista-sama, I've finally met you. President Tamara...!" Jeff's words were filled with excitement and joy as he looked directly at the first person.

Indeed, the man with the large hat and white beard was none other than the Fifth Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, Vista, known as the "Flower Sword."

Before Jeff could continue his words, Vista, who had maintained a smile until now, rare as it was, put aside his smile and said sternly, "I've heard about Tamara's situation.

I know who the killer is, and I've read the reports in the newspaper. You've come to the New World for Tamara, and I appreciate it. From now on, leave everything to me!"

Vista cared deeply about his younger sister's tragic death. Although they didn't meet often, the Whitebeard Pirates valued family bonds. The loss of his younger sister had infuriated him as an older brother.

Though interrupted, Jeff was overwhelmed with relief upon hearing Vista's words. He had come to the right person. With Vista's support, he was confident he could achieve vengeance.

"Bista, I want to make it clear. I can leave the person to you to deal with, but before that, I need to give this so-called Blood Dragon Swordsman a good lesson," Suddenly, another person who entered the room with Vista spoke.

"Marko, don't worry. While my sister's death has made me angry, I already know your situation. We're family, and I will let you vent your anger!" Vista waved his hand.

Upon hearing this, Marko was also satisfied and didn't say anything else. At the same time, Jeff finally noticed the other person who had entered the room.

"This is Marco, one of the captains of the Whitebeard Pirates. Jeff couldn't help but feel surprised and puzzled with such a lineup. He didn't know Marco and Vista had united because they had a common enemy, the Blood Dragon Swordsman.

Unbeknownst to him, years ago, the Blood Dragon Swordsman, also known as Qin Ge, had killed Marco's brother, Dennis, during a dispute over the "Red Blood."

Now, after learning of the exposure of Qin Ge by the World Economic News, Marco had traced the origin back to the source, realizing that Qin Ge was his brother's killer.

Upon learning of Tamara's death and the exposure of Qin Ge's identity, Marco found Vista and informed him, and they decided to go after Qin Ge together.

Jeff was unaware of these details, but he understood from their conversation that they planned to join forces to kill Qin Ge. With such a formidable team, Jeff couldn't imagine a scenario where Qin Ge could survive. He felt immense satisfaction in his heart.
