A police car drives down the street in the dead of night, passing by a few neighbourhoods and then a forest as the street lights disappear so the only light being the car's headlights.
The police officer who was driving, named Officer Lee, looked over at his partner Officer Ray.
"You good Ray?" Lee asked, never taking his eyes off the road.
"Yeah, just checking a case" Ray replied as he used a TouchPad to look at a few reports.
"What case?" The car slowed and turned right down a street towards a structure in the distance.
"In the 2032 missing persons case, the victim went missing out here. The name was Rachel, and the mother was admitted to a psychiatric hospital after the kidnapping cases from the Pizzaplex. Her mother went on about a weird rabbit that possessed her" Ray chuckled.
"After the shady history of the Fazbear business, I guess you can say I'm a bit superstitious about it," Lee said as they pulled into a parking lot across from a blue van. The van's side door was open as the officers exited the car, switching on their flashlights and heading over to the van, hands on their holsters.
They look inside and see some camera equipment but no people inside.
"They must be inside right now filming, you'd think they'd know that the area is restricted," Ray said as Lee walked over to the building, shining his light on the sign that was collapsed next to the entrance that read:
Fazbear Frights
"Not this place" Lee mumbled to himself as Ray noticed him staring at the sign. Lee had some history with this place but Ray has only been on the force for 5 years.
Lee breathed in and without any words, walked inside, unclipping his holster, Ray following behind and seeing Lee more seriously.
Ray always knew Lee to be this laid-back, humorous and wise officer who has been on the force for 34 years but he'd never seen Lee this serious.
They both made their way through the burnt building, seeing debris on the ground and animatronic parts scattered around the place. The crunching of debris under the officer's shoes echoed through the building, they found the remains of the office and the remains of a corpse.
"Oh shit, is that…" Ray started.
"That's Dominic, he owned the van outside" Lee stated as he looked around.
"You couldn't have said that outside?" Ray said, a bit freaked out by the body.
Dominic's body was sitting against the wall with slashes that ran down his body, his right eye was hanging from the socket and his arm was torn off.
Ray felt like puking since he was a bit squeamish around gore. Lee heard something from the vent a few feet from the body so he pulled his gun and pulled the vent hatch off, aiming his gun and flashlight, only to see a person who was as pale as a ghost.
"Charles!" Lee said aloud, holstering his gun and helping the young boy out, Charles was clutching onto a handheld camera that was dead. He was shaking in the officer's arms, staring off into the distance, Charles had seen something.
"I think it's time to go Lee" Ray whispered as they both heard something above them on the roof, it sounded heavy but the thuds of whatever it was sounded slow like it was creeping around. Lee thought he drew it near due to him talking aloud. Lee slowly picked up Charles and slowly but carefully began making his way to the exit, trying not to step on any loud debris. Ray followed behind Lee and Charles, looking behind him, the thudding was fading as they got closer to the exit, Ray didn't see a fallen pipe and tripped over it, both he and Lee immediately stayed still, waiting for the sounds of thuds to get closer to them.
A few minutes went by in complete silence, Lee looked at Ray.
"Carefully get up and let's go" Lee whispered.
Ray nodded and gently leaned over to grab his flashlight that had fallen near his hip, aiming down the hallway. As he grabbed it, his face went pale.
Next to him was a camera that was working, the horrifying thing was the screen display, the camera had night vision and was looking into a room to his left. On the zoomed-in screen, he was the face of an animatronic that was looking at him, it moved ever so slightly, he couldn't tell what the animal mask was, only that it had no eyes but was staring at him.
He gently got to his feet, keeping his eyes on the camera screen, breathing quietly and slowly as he felt his heart racing.
He quickly looked over to where Lee was but he was gone, Lee probably made it out of the building. Ray looked at the screen again and felt his heart stop, the animatronic was gone.
Hearing scraping to his right, he aimed his light down the hallway, Ray screamed and ran as he saw the animatronic running towards him, hearing the metal scraping and thuds getting closer. He was terrified as this thing was getting close, he felt like he was about to die.
That was until he was Lee standing at the entrance with a shotgun.
"RUN!" Lee shouted as he cocked the shotgun and aimed it towards Ray.
Ray dove to the door as the animatronic swiped at him, as he cleared the entrance, Lee pulled the trigger, unloading a round of buckshot into the animatronic thing.
Cocking the gun and shooting it again and again until it retreated into the building.
Lee picked up Ray and they both ran to the car, Lee floored the accelerator and left the area. Ray looked in the back and saw Charles on the seat, still clutching his camera as Ray breathed a sigh of relief.
"What the fuck was that!" Ray shouted.
"Whatever it was, it killed Dominic and almost killed you," Lee said as they turned left and went back to the populated area and back to the station.
"We need to get that camera running so we can see what happened to those two. After that, notify the Chief and the entire police force" Lee said aloud, thinking out a plan.
"What do you know about that building? Like, no fucking bullshit Lee, I want to know" Ray almost yelled at Lee.
"Fazbear Frights, it burnt down years ago. We all know that Springtrap escaped the fire and went to the Pizzaplex" Lee said as they pulled to the police station.
"Who the fuck is Springtrap?" Ray asked.
"William Afton, the Fazbear Murderer"
